New problem today with an Amiko mini combo extra. I have 4 sat feeds via a diseqc switch running no problem . I changed one of my sat feeds from 30w to Thor .8w and scanned in all the channels on Thor ok. However now when I press the OK button followed by the red (group) button, the box locks up at this point and will not respond to any button. If I copy the channel plan to another new box via usb stick I get the same problem. For some reason adding Thor seems to have caused the problem. All versions of firmware have been tried with no success. If I replace Thor with Hispassat all is OK.

Any ideas.

I supplied and fitted a Zegemma H7 with Vix for a friend about 3 years ago. I use a Tiviar and have had zero issues with it for the past 5 years, however they are no longer available so the Zegemma H7 was a suggested alternative.

Recently my friend is having trouble with the Epg guide not being displayed properly. It appears as there is only now and next displayed. I had him try a force epg download but he is getting a fail error notice. The box is not online . I used cross epg and open TV providers as this never fails on my Tiviar. Both are running the same Vix image.

Any ideas.

I didn't explain properly. I am using an Nline from a friend. Is there something he can try on his server.

I am confused as to the difference between Eleven Sports and Eleven 1, which seems to be advertising the premiership football.

Eleven 1 seems OK where as Eleven Sports freezes.

Followed your advise and now have new file called oscam_checker placed in cron.d with the following contents */5 * * * * root /var/script/OscamCheck.sh

I suppose if I send a command to stop oscam for testing it should restart in 5 mins if I am correct.

I want to check if my ubuntu server has a check in place to restart oscam every 5 mins or so should things go wrong. The shell script is present in the var/script location ok, however I am confused as I don't have a single crontab file. I have hourly, daily, weekly and monthly crontab folders in etc/. In the hourly folder there is an empty file called .placeholder. Do I need to rename this and insert */5 * * * * root /var/script/OscamCheck.sh

For some reason my conax 0b01 card is not clearing canal+ sport and a few other channels. Other packs on this card such as eleven sports, HBO are OK.

Anyone know about this.
