    That is what I had previously. However The address and nd bank account are no longer in existence.

    Where can I buy as prepaid. Will it be seca like my last one. It never gave any trouble in my VU receiver.

    I don't think that its a problem. The omnikey and oscam run fine with the proper config and card inserted. I was just using the old viaccess card when I was getting the spare server up and running. I don't use viaccess anyway.

    Update.

    I might be chasing my tail here and making problems where they do not exist.

    The old card that I inserted in the omnikey ( about 7 years expired ) is Viaccess. My config is for an old NDS card. For some reason oscam restarts when trying to read the card with the incorrect config. I popped an old nagravision card in and oscam remains up on the Webif OK. Maybe this is how things work with the latest oscam.

    Just to clarify, the OscamWebif works OK but if I insert a ''dud'' card into the omnikey I cannot view oscam with the OscamWebif for abour 30 secs. It then re-appears for about 30 sec's and keeps doing this. The oscam log shows that the oscam has been restarted.

    Hi,

    I have oscam r11668 installed on a Ubuntu 20.04.1 Lts server that I am playing around with at the moment as my current pc server is now 8 years old and could fall over at any time.

    One thing I noticed that if I put an incorrect reader config in oscam and insert an old card in the omnikey ( old card for testing purpose ) I cannot connect to oscam with the web interface. It appears to refuse to connect for about 30 seconds and then returns ok for about the same time. With a correct config and card, oscam remains running. I have never seen this happen with my old server running r11550 oscam. Maybe I don't need to worry about this at all.

    I welcome any comments.

    Simple things first.


    One of my customers told me on Friday last that their satellite was working until I repaired the terrestrial amplifier. They were 100% adamant so when I checked I found the lnb was not in the mounting bracket at all. It was hanging at the side of the dish.

    Explain that one.

    Hi,

    I am running vix image on many zgemma's with all Polish channels with no problems at all. You first need to confirm that all FTA channels are 100% perfect. If not then you need to take a look at your receive signal strength and quality. Get the basics right first. Then move on to the encrypted channels. I use Mgcamd and I find it better than oscam as I view channels from 19, 28 and 30w also.

    I am having difficulty as the oscam seems to be very erratic and runs for a short while after I reboot the server. It appears in the web IF and the disappears.

    Hi all,

    I am playing around with Debian CS-Server IPC and am almost there. I installed the newest oscam in usr/local bin and when I view it in the UI it displays a much older version. I removed oscam from usr/local/bin to see that I was not doing something silly but oscam is still running and can be viewed with the web interface. How do I find where oscam is currently as I want to try and remove it and install the latest instead.
