Hi all,
Is there a plugin that will let you change the remote functions for my dm800?
I want to chage the functions of the buttons as there are some functions that I dont use.

I have tried multiquick button for the vu but this does not seem to be working on my dm800.

I've had to reflash nemesis and use last working channel list 12/04/13

Just set the static IP and it connected!!
This is so weird, never had to do that before!

All settings in the router are fine.
Just wondering is a static IP would help?

Managed to reflash image using serial cable, but when I go to network again ... nothing it wont get IP address. There is nothing wrong with the cablle, just flashed with it.
I dont understand how it works to flash image but not when image is loaded??

Any ideas?

Going to try to flash using null modem cable.

I’ve been watching my dreambox this afternoon and all of a sudden itr froze.
I did all the usual things, restart unplug etc.
When I looked at the setting the DM800 was not connected to the network.
I connect direct to my router, so I did all the things change network cable, restart the router unplug again but still no connection to the internet.
Thinking that the image was corrupted (nemesis) I thought I would try to reflash.
Unplugged the dreambox pressed the power button and waited for the ***stop** message.
This came up along with dhcp message but no network address.

I can still boot into the image and view FTA channels but just can not connect to the internet.
Can the network port fail?? The orange light is still on.
Any help please?

or do I convert to cws

I have my normal server set up like this
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = xxxxxx

CWS= xx.xxx.xxx.xx {port} username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Do I just add another CWS line?

Great idea mate. Might try that over the next few days! Probably end up with a broken fan though!!!!

Just bought a usb fan to keep my dm800 cool when it is on.
The problem is the fan stays on even when the dm800 is in standby. Is there any way to turn off the power to the usb ports when the box is in standby?
Ive looked through all the settings and I can not find anything that will help!

Ok I have borrowed a tuner from my friend and put it in the new dm800, all is working great again with this tuner in.
Im going to have to swap the tuner for a non faulty one!!

I think you have misunderstood.
When the first box is off O can not access any channels except FTA channels, also teh second box will not move the motor when the ffirst box is off too.
I think it might be a tuner issue.
