the ip address is given to your router by the provider ...............................the box has nothing to do with it ( unless you use a vpn)

as far as i am aware the kt1 is only dvbt2 not dvbs, unless u mean the kt1 4k in other words the kt1 is dvbt , the kt1 4k is dvbs

this piece of crap will never cease to amaze me ! till a couple of days ago everything was working fine ..........when i pressed the power button my k7 went to sleep , usb power went off ( and hard disk, optical signal so the sound bar would also turn off and the network ) . now when i put it in standby nothing turns off , the hd stays always on , so does the sound bar and the networks card.

i 'm sure i havent changed any settings at all.

anyone has any idea of why ?

i want the hard disk and all the rest to go off when i go in stand by as it was before.

the only dvb-S HD channel works fine (La7 HD, Hot Bird 13C 11919.00 V), but many dvb-S2 channels have problems, es:

Mediaset: Hot Bird 13E 11432.00 V

they all work fine here , but by experience hd channels are more subject to interferencers expecially with not perfectly aligned dishes or cable degradation. some might be working fine cos you know not all transponders have the same signal intensity. i do assume yr question was ...to open hd channels with dragon............

i had the same problem with hd channels with my old dish ( 20 years old ) once i replaced it all was working great

hello guys i have a question.

i have set up my diablo lan and it seems to work fine for my needs...........................

but i have a problem on rsi .........................la 1 hd and la 2 hd

they simply wont clear ....................its not a cccam problem since the cline clears it perfectly on my reciever and on pc ....................... all others channels r fine .....................i have put the caids in the caid files ( unless the ones i found on internet are wrong 0500 and 4AFC are wrong ) , but they seem to be correct so i cant figure out why ....................anyone has any idea why these 2 wont clear ?

hello guys , having heard previous firmware has not ac3 tracks issues , i thought to install it and try it .........but it wont let me , it says can't intsall older version...............................is there a way to do it ?

actually u made no mistake , since so far as i know no android tv box supports dcss LNB ( and trust me i have had and tried many ) and also many normal dvb recievers don't , i suppose that was their invention to force u to use their own crapcoder

So, are You sayng that android is bad for S2 and the box is a fake ? What about dual boot with some other OS like elmec ? Do You think is better to return back the K7 box and find another ?

It's not android many non android , or regular ( call it whaterv u prefer ) recievers hardly support dcss lnbs. it's simply not a very used standard.

seems to work but too many things are still missing , you can't even define or modify favourite lists

New discovery today , dvtCrap doest work with bluetooth speakers / soundbar.

all other apps , players and so on work fine.

I m seriously starting to wonder if at mecool they even try a product before selling it

And you probably didnt read well the problem. Cos i didnt say i had no sound. i had sound , but i couldnt increase or decrease the volume...it was fixed volume even though the volume bar appeared and was moving normally up and down , not even mute worked ..........mute icon was ok but the sound didnt mute .

Hello guys , i have a very weird problem with my k7

when i go on a channel that has mpeg track .i can control the volume just fine .

when i go on a channel with ac3 track the volume is fixed ...............the volume bar appears and goes up and down but the volume does not change . even the mute doesnt work ........but the mute econ appears and desappears .....................i have tried all the setting but .it simply doesnt work.

any ideas ?
