    You have understood correctly . oscam to server and cccam to the dream . If you open an internet explorer window and type http://192.x.x.x ( whatever ip of dream is ) :16001 . That should take you to the cccam default info port so long as youve not changed for another one.

    With your readers in load balance mode you need both cards being read to have identical packages on each .

    These are all options for load balance in oscam latest builds : -

    lb_mode = mode
    load balancing mode:

    0 = load balance disabled, ECMs go to all readers (default)
    1 = fastest reader first, after 5 ECMs the reader with the fastest
    response time will be selected
    2 = oldest reader first, reader with the longest no answer
    3 = lowest usage level, the usage level will be calculated by the
    sum of 5 ECMS response times, the higher a reader is busy, the
    higher is usage level

    lb_save = 0|counts
    save auto load balance statistics:

    0 = saving of auto load balance statistics disabled (default)
    counts = save auto load balance statistics every counts ECMs
    (minimum 100)

    To save CPU power a minimum counts of 100 is recommended.

    lb_nbest_readers = counts
    set count of best readers for load balancing, default:1

    lb_nfb_readers = counts
    set count of fallback readers for load balancing, default:1

    lb_reopen_mode = 0|1
    load balancing reopen readers mode:

    0 = standard late reopening of blocker readers (default)
    1 = fast reopening of blocker readers

    lb_nbest_percaid = CAID1:count1[,CAID2:count2]...
    set count of best readers per CAIDs for load balancing, default:none

    lb_min_ecmcount = counts
    minimal ECM count to evaluate load balancing values, default:5

    lb_max_ecmcount = counts
    maximum ECM count before resetting load balancing values, default:500

    lb_reopen_seconds = seconds
    time between retrying failed load balanced readers/CAIDs/providers/services,
    default:900

    lb_retrylimit = milli seconds
    retry next load balanced reader only if response time is higher then lb_retrylimit,
    default:800

    lb_savepath = filename
    filenanme for saving load balancing statistics, default:/tmp/.oscam/stat

    lb_stat_cleanup = hour
    hours after the load balancing statistics will be deleted, default:336

    lb_use_locking = 0|1
    1 = disable parallel and identical load balancing ECM requests, default:0

    lb_retrylimits = CAID1:time1[,CAID2:time2]...
    load balancing retry limit time per CAID, default:none

    lb_noproviderforcaid = CAID1[,CAID2]...
    ignore provider information for CAIDs to reduce load balancing statistic data,
    default:none

    lb_max_readers = limit
    restrict the reader count to limit during load balancing learning:

    0 = unlimited (default)
    limit = restrict load balancer readers to limit

    lb_auto_betatunnel = 0|1
    1 = enable automatic Betacrypt tunneling detection for CAIDs 1801, 1833, 1834, and 1835
    for load balancing, Betacrypt defintion in oscam.user with betatunnel will be prefered,
    default:1

    Your settings however look just fine

    At the end of day Caz we should all feel paranoid. C/s is illegal always has been always will be . I think though that this eurovox case refers to modified cable boxes and not c/s . The likes of providers still don't appreciate that a lot of us use unofficial receivers as they are far superior to there own offerings and we are nothing to do with cardsharing at all !!!! If they could offer a receiver that could do what 3rd party receivers could do with plugins , skins etc then i'm sure the true hobbyist would stick and play with the receiver given to him/her by the provider from the onset. With the intorduction of hardware pairing growing and growing it seems like we are all gonna be forced to use cheap utter rubbish firmwares on poor peforming hardware. My provider is already hardware paired now and has been for a few months so i can only use the official receiver now to watch my countries satlelite offerings. Not ideal but i am forced to do so if i want to watch tv in my home nations language etc. Again the media taking away peoples freedoms etc

    A FRAUDSTER who sold 400,000 set-top boxes which could receive TV subscription channels for free cost Virgin Media £144million a year, a court heard yesterday.

    Munaf Zinga, 41, set up Rayyonics Ltd in 2005 to sell Eurovox devices for £100.

    Mukundan Pillai, 42, was the technical expert and Salim Patel, 47, the delivery driver, Snaresbrook crown court in London was told.

    Zinga, of Plaistow, East London, and Pillai, of *Hainault, Essex, got eight and six years in jail respectively after being found guilty of conspiracy to defraud.

    Patel, of Plaistow, admitted the same charge and was sentenced to a year.

    The judge called the scheme “audacious”.

    in answer to your question number 2

    traceability is very apparent . Your IP is like an address and identifies your machines on your isp's network . Most isp's now use DPI ( deepful packet inspection ) . This looks at the network headers of the traffic and allows ISP to traffic shape particular traffics like torrents/p2p to allow a better user experience for all other users. Recently in Saudi arabia i believe all ISP's used DPI to stop the flow of cccam traffic completely over there network. It didnt matter if you changed port etc as the dpi technique looks at the header info from the data packet. In essence everything is traceable and i guess in time as more satellite providers also become isp providers they will adopt or are already discreetly adopting similar techniques or network logging. The hobby has always been cat & mouse and more and more providers are able to counter c/s now with hardware pairing. Within a couple of years everything in my opinion will be iptv and already services are cropping up on the internet offering this and to a good standard and more importantly often for free by fellow hobbyists. I guess it best to share with only people you know i.e family and friends if you indeed intend to share at all . Alot of us now just choose this route so we can use different receivers other than the rubbish supplied by the providers. End of the day there is only so much tv you can watch at once.

    once you get used to oscam it is far superior to cccam . A lot more playing can be done with configs aswell for the true hobbyist. don't know what card you are using but i think most run ok with it .

    new2

    you have to create the files yourselve buddy . you need oscam.conf , oscam.user , oscam.server

    just use an editor like wordpad and create the files then ftp them over to your server

    new2

    For your card , setup correctly in oscam you can achieve 65-80 m/s read time . Like so : -

    Linux server , powered usb hub , usb hub plugs to pc first , then smargo goes in usb hub .

    Also with your card 10-15 users should be fine with a mhz speed set at 6.86.

    firstly why would you want to hide this information ????????????????????????????????

    you can simply just turn off webif but it is not possible to stop the status page showing connected clients
