    It was 7 and became 8 after adding the oaweather 🤪 , it is not easy to make a skin fully compatible with all different images especially these recent images , every image has its own features .

    Then asking for support to OpenPli (dev build) isn't the best question you want to hear? :smiling face with halo:

    What is 'short description' exactly (tag name)?

    I know that enigma2 uses only these tags from the epg XML file: title, sub-title and desc

    Is 'short description' you mention above an extra tag?

    I've asked because this happens to all sources I import with epgimport (my source XML, rytec).

    But when I'm not using epgimport to get the epg infos but using EIT-EPG - in these epg descriptions from EIT there are line breaks/paragraphs (!) which makes reading longer description texts or acters listings etc way more easier.

    So how can EIT have it in? When skin renderers cutting this out shouldn't this also effect EIT epg infos?

    Thanks

    pepsik Is there some function built in which removes every whitespace (line breaks, tabs, multiple spaces, ...) from the "desc" (description) key from the epg xml file? I've tested "thousands variants" to bring in some new lines/line breaks/paragraphs into the description but no chance - they all get removed when I view the epg info after I imported my epg.xml source with v1.9.1 epgimport_mod

    (using pure2 v7.3 image)

    Hi KiddaC - I've switched from pure2 v6.5 (py2) to pure2 v7.3 (py3) yesterday. Installed JediMakerXstream from their feed (which is enigma2-plugin-extensions-jedimakerxtream - 6.35-20231118-git163+1e09eb1-r3) and set it up like it was in v6.5.

    I'm using the m3u4u.com service for my bouqets and importing epg.

    1) JediMaker did create all my bouquets, I can watch all the channels - so far so good

    but

    2) For the epg stuff JediMaker do create two files for EPGImporter, correct? I think here is the first problem because the file "jedimakerxtream.Watch.channels.xml" doesn't have all those assignments in it. It simply looks like:

    XML
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <channels>
    </channels>

    As said the "jedimakerxtream.sources.xml" file I think looks correct:

    XML
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <sources>
        <sourcecat sourcecatname="JediMakerXtream EPG">
            <source type="gen_xmltv" nocheck="1" channels="/etc/epgimport/jedimakerxtream.Watch.channels.xml">
                <description>Watch</description>
                <url>http://m3u4u.com/epg/my_long_id</url>
            </source>
        </sourcecat>
    </sources>

    The next problem is that EPGImport doesn't fetch any event at all (0 events) for this source but let's first get JediMakerXtreme working.

    Thanks

    pepsik and Marcus1305

    Just as short info for you - with latest version(s) > MENU > set 'background image....' to NO history zap opens again immediately here!

    (only with that setting set to YES I have this ~2 sec delay)

    I don't really want to get involved 'in your discussion' ;) - I compared also v1.0.13 with v1.0.15 on my pure2 (6.5) image.

    v1.0.13 - history zap nearly opens immediately

    v1.0.15 - history zap opens noticeably slower - I wouldn't say it take >2 sec but about 1 sec

    (without any accusations or claims... I can live with ~1s)

    pepsik Perfect - it works here now! :thumbs up:

    There is at the moment now way to see the name of the userbouquet the channel is in (when viewing the similar channels)?

    Just though while viewing the similar list it would be a nice info to have (because I have for example categorized my userbouquets by different qualities, e.g. a userbouquet file named "Germany HD" and another one with "Germany SD" and so on).

    But when you ask me I myself wouldn't have an idea where to place that info because there is more or less no space left for that :person shrugging: :smiling face with halo:

    pepsik What is your plugin looking for exactly when using the green button ("similar"). I've tried your plugin with pure2 (6.5) and when I click the green button I get always a list of thousand channels (looks like all my channels?!) and not just the channels which have more or less the same name.

    What I use as userbouquets are a few SAT (19.2°) channels, e.g.

    Code
    #SERVICE 1:0:19:283D:3FB:1:C00000:0:0:0:

    and a few IPTV bouqets, e.g.

    Code
    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:333:1002:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//abc%3a8080/live/abc/abc/1234.ts:Das Erste HD+
    #DESCRIPTION Das Erste HD+

    Hi,

    I use picons with the SNP naming - this works perfect, the only problem I have is with service names which have umlauts in their name.

    How should I name the picon when the service name for the channel is e.g. 'TV Nö'?

    I've tried:

    1) tvno.png

    2) tvnoe.png

    3) tvn.png

    4) tvnö.png

    Nothing worked - so how should I name them when an umlaut is in the channel/service name?

    Thanks

    Latest ipk package ok? Can't install (or even open it in 7zip for example):

    Code
    # opkg install /media/hdd/enigma2-plugin-extensions-chocholousek-picons_5.0.221027_all.ipk
