to find out if there are drivers for your adapter in the installed image on the feed, look at the properties of the usb wifi adapter vid/pid

and by vid/pid, see the name of the driver from the list in the file along the path

    /lib/modules/3.14-1.17-dm920 /modules.alias

    Thanks

I recently purchased a wireless USB adapter (D-Link DWA-X1850 Wi-Fi 6) and I would like to use it with the Dreambox 920 UHD. In your opinion is it compatible with the 920?

Given that I have two CI+ cams 4K and two cards 4K (FRANSAT and TIVUSAT-black-) when I installed DE 7.1, I deactivated CI+ Manager to go to the screen to activate the HIGHT BITRATE option. Well, as soon as I try to enter that screen (menu/configurations/peripherals/common interface) I get the green screen and the decoder restarts. I tried a second time and it was green again.

With DE 6.0 this didn't happen and I was able to access the above screen.

Of course if I can't activate HIGHT BITRATE my 2 cards can't work.

The software should not allow you to do that. I'll let one of the ATV developers know.

What options are available for A3 - A8? Do you have an FBC automatic? If so set it to that for all those 6.

If you don't have it then best to set as A3-A8 as Loop through to A or not configured/disabled/nothing connected

I tried disabling the tuners from A3-A8 but nothing was solved.

I decided to change the image because even though I have connected 2 cables to the decoder I can't make 2 recordings at the same time. This means that the second tuner doesn't work either.

    This image is a disaster!

Anyway, thank you for your availability.

No, this is the configuration for each of the eight tuners.

Here are the Screenshots you asked for.

I use a universal LNB with 2 independent cables.

The decoder recognises 8 tuners (A1-A8). This is their configuration:

    1) Simple

    2) Single

    3) 13 East

    4) NO

    5) NO

    6) NO

When I make a recording no other channels work.

Per utilizzare completamente un FBC Twin Tuner, avresti bisogno di un LNB Unicable o Diffrend Image

Altrimenti i 2 cavi non ti danno alcun vantaggio rispetto ad un normale doppio tuner

Yes, I know, but I have always put off buying a Unicable LNB because with the Dream Elite I could already do more than 10 recordings simultaneously. And that was enough for me.

I can't comment about the Dreambox, but other receivers with FBC tuners work fine on OpenATV.

OpenATV has different code to PLI. On OpenATV and their derivatives, you have to daisy chain the tuners when using unicable.

As a general comment, the tuner configuration is based on the equipment attached to the tuner. You have not mentioned what equipment you have. If you can do so, we can try and explain it. However, if OpenATV do not have working drivers, it still might not work.

I have dual tuner FBC with two independent cables.

I have a Dreambox 920 UHD and a few days ago I installed OpenATV 6.4 for the first time.

Coming from the Dream Elite I never had any problems using my FBC tuner.

In fact, the Dream Elite recognised my FBC tuner and recognised it as a single tuner. In contrast, OpenATV recognises my FBC tuner as 8 separate tuners.

With the Dream Elite I only had to configure one tuner and all eight worked. With OpenATV, however, only the first tuner works while the other seven do not.

That's why I don't understand how to configure an FBC tuner on OpenATV.

Menu > Setup > Recording & Timeshift > Timeshift settings

Change the Timeshift buffer location and Auto-record location to the correct path for your USB or HDD recording device.

    Thank you for your reply.

    My timeshift path is; /media/hdd/timeshift/.

My automatic recording path is: /media/hdd/movie/

    What should I change?

What does it mean to change the position of the timeshift buffer?

The situation has worsened because I no longer even see the card data in the channel information bar.

You mean, that I have to attach them here?

The configs are working don`t change them for now.

There is an issue with the card slot, its not reading the card.

Move the card into the lower card slot and edit the device in oscam.server from device = /dev/sci0 to device = /dev/sci1

Restart oscam and give us another log.

Sorry, but I didn't understand where to put the card?

The dreambx 920 has 3 slots. In the first 2 slots you can put the cams and in the lower one only the card. Right?

I've always put the Tivusat card in the slot where only cards without cams go.

You should check the card is inserted properly. Possibly give the chip a clean.

Perhaps this writing came out because, to be on the safe side, I tried the card with the chip facing down as well as up.

Does the fact that this data appears on the channel information bar mean that oscam recognises the card?

You mean, that I have to attach them here?

satpassion remove all contents of oscam.dvbapi then add P: 183D:000000

Restart oscam then show another log please.

Unfortunately it still does not work.

However, if I go to the channel information bar I get this data:

CAM: Oscam, CAID: 183D, SOURCE: Local slot, USING: Tivusat, PID: 10CD, CHID: 0000, HOPS: 0, TIME: 0.133

The strange thing is that if I change channels and then return to the previous channel, all this information no longer appears because the card is no longer detected.

    This is 183d card.

satpassion these configs should work on 183d card.

Make sure to remove all old configs before using these.

    Show us another oscam log.

I just tried it and it still doesn't work.

But we've made a big step forward because now when I go to a Tivusat channel I get the information on my card (183D) while before I got the message: no information from the cam.

I have attached the Oscam log.

Thank you very much for your patience

Hi, my tivusat card is this one:
