C:lines dont go in CCcam buddy, they are for clients, ie: a box in your bedroom would be set up as a client and use the C:line
F:lines stay on CCcam.

also notice your N:line (captital N) do the same with your F:lines. ie >

have you installed the no-ip updater on the server and set a static ip? i never used no-ip so not sure about the updater, i use dyndns, never had a problem.
also, not sure if it does anything but every little may help. use a different password to the users ie: user pass1

you need to update your whitelist. just done mine, all good now :-)

i found it to be glitchy also, hopefully an update would fix,

what network are you using? is it still 02. and how often does it glitch?

depending on what box your friend has he could use a channel list without adult? i take it your friend is female, or maybe a guy with a jealous girlfriend? lol

its your lucky day buddy. i had the same problem last week. its not as simple as plug in your sim card and away you go. your need to edit the init cmd 'top line on gprs settings

you need to edit the last bit cant remember what think its "CMNET" edit that part (and that part only!!!) to the init cmd for the network you are using, in your case its 02

so edit AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP","CMNET" to AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP","mobile.o2.co.uk"

once done, rebot box and it will work via gprs, all the 0.0.000.'s will have valid network info > i use giffgaff, same network as 02 but great gprs signals 22+

i was trying before work, it would not give the option to edit, its odd. gonna have another bash at it now and let you know.

*update* got it working after alot of messing about with setting, works with all uk sims > using giffgaff at the minute.

but to be honest, it glitches like hell, every 5-6 seconds i get pixilation and sound distortion, i dont think it is dont to the networks, i have tried several, all with different gprs signal levels > but the result is the same.

hopefully there will be a firmware update soon to to the problem > i have already tried the 2 that are released already

can anybody help? i have tried orange/02/and giffgaff payg sim cards inc my 02 pay monthly. i get nothing, just scrambled all the time. i get a gprs signal of 20

but nothing............. i have looked aroud the net for hours with no joy. i only have the gprs function active, both wifi and ether is NOT active.

really doing my head in now. has anybody else got one of these boxs and got it to work??

well i go camping at least once a year with the wife and kids, i was thinkin about keeping the kids entertained (get a portable dish and inverter) worth a punt i guess. if it doesnt work it still has wired option for a home :-)

i set up a line on my server, wired. seems to run fine, minimal delay on channel change > pretty much the same as the F3 (maybe slightly faster) but it may just be me :-/
slightly larger than the F3 however but that's not really a problem

hey guys, i have been playing around with my new ***box F4. i am wondering what would be the most cost effective sim? does anybody have any idea how much data the box is likely to use?

i have been looking at orange (comes with swipe card to top up once a month)

or is there a better sim deal for the internet connection?

'C' stands for cable = dreambox 500C-able
'S' stands for satellite = dreambox 500S-ateillte

the only way you can use that box is with a cable based company, ie: virmin media
thats why it was easier with the 500s as the tuner is designed to train on to satellite signals

long story short > my cousin offered to buy a 12 month prepaid setanta ireland card. then he saw the price £300 - £450

so i am wanting to subscribe to setanta ireland > but seems i need to register an ireland viewing card number.

contacted setanta with my uk card details, and they turned me down flat > saying uk cant recieve setanta ireland? after searching for info i have found that i need an irish sly card > belive fta card works also???

hi CapNCook, please excuse my ignorance. but is this a 'fix'? i have noticed a few of my channels dont clear or i get msg no sid when selected. mainly Dave HD.

hey guys, i have bought myself an openbox s10. (clone)

i have flashed an image (red image) along with aj's sly channel list. but when i want to select a channel the menu opens and all the channels from the fav fill the screen.

i had an image on my opebox s11 (clone) along with the said channel list and it was perfect. (sadly gave up the ghost a few days ago)
when i press select, there was a box on the left with just the fav folders list ie

movies
entertainment
sports
irish
etc
etc

once i selected the fav it would then open the next menu, same layout but with the channels in order.

i belive it was down to the image i was using, the channel list is the same (was saved on usb)

the boot logo was a ***box one, but thats all i know. the wife is driving me mad. we use this in the bedroom, and shes bitching because she cant navigate the channels like she used too.

does anyone have any idea what image it could be? it was deffo ***box boot logo. and a s10 image if i remember correctly.

have you rebooted box (silly question i know)

back up your original channel list > delete channel list > upload with usb the obF3 channel list > reboot....... should be as simple as that.

but i need to be fair with him, he shared with me years ago, gave me a box, no charge, and lots of channels. but he served from his dreambox and was put off when it started to glitch.......... i owe it to him why i got into this hobby. on the plus side......... if him and his friends want setanta they can have it. least i aint gotta pay. more of a rugby man myself :-)

hey guys, i have got my server up and running, and all is well. i am sharing with less than 10 people. 5 of those being family members.

my cousin (who i gave extra shares 2) shares with a couple of his friends.

he has come round tonight and asked me why i cant get him irish setanta, after having a slight pop at him for being ungrateful he announced that he and his friends are going to get a 12 month prepaid card, and would i be able to put on the server. i have a few questions regarding this.

1. i am running cccam 2.1.3 and oscam on linux server with omnikey > would i have to buy a second reader? and how would i go about setting it up?

2. would it be possible for him to use his dreambox as the server for the card > and send my server a N:line, so i can further share?

sorry for the questions, i am still a noob but if i can read/share a second card i will, just after the b

hey guys, a little help if you could to point me in the right directions.

i have got the dm800se. have tried many many times to set up for s!y uk.

i find the sat, search, channels etc etc. but i cant figure out the channel list. theres loads off channels picked up that i dont want/need there.

i have tried a few images (persian empire at the minute)

this is really doing my head in, so much so that i keep reverting bk to my openbox s11

can anyone recommend an image and chall list?

i have the same box, same issue. was doing my head in for well over a week. my box would reconized my wifi n usb after a while, but never able to pick up my network. so i looked into home plugs > glad i did. not had a problem since, just an alternative incase you have no luck with wifi.
