curl is not installed! Please run:opkg uptade.opgk install curl
Then resttart the plugin.

First of all, thank you for your efforts. My Octagon SF-8008 device has version 7.6.0 installed as an image. Everything has been done, but unfortunately the application works only partially on satellite broadcasts! Also, exiting the application is very difficult; it would be much better if there was an EXIT button. Hopefully, the application will be further improved... -
Peace be upon you. Could you please explain how to translate EPG information into Turkish? It's in Arabic in this version and I can't use it. Thank you.

Hello, copy the downloaded software to a Fat32 formatted USB memory stick. Press Menu + Fav + Software Update on your remote control and press 0000. On the next screen, select the update method USB and click OK. Highlight the downloaded software and click OK. The device will process the software and boot up automatically.

CodeHello, in this case, unfortunately you need to delete one of the images in the 4 loaded slots. After deleting, click on the ONLINE menu. And change it until you see DEFINE-Os 7.0. When Define Os appears, click OK and select the slot you want to load below and start the installation. -
hi but when i put the image in mupg format in usb is not visible but when is in mmc.zip i am able to see it and can install it

Hello, this software is DEFINE-OS software. While the device is in the DEFINE.7.0 partition, put the file you downloaded into the USB memory as it is. Then, enter the software update menu, select update from USB and click OK. This software is found and click OK again. The software installation will start, do not intervene until it is finished. The device will turn on automatically. -

Display MoreHad the SF8008 for more years than I care to remember and it's suddenly decided to continuously switch to standby and then switch back on every other second. After I do a cold reboot it works normally for approx 5 mins then starts to switch on and off. This occurs whatever image I boot to in the various slots so looking like a hardware issue. But interestingly this doesn't occur when booted to recovery menu. Likely a capacitor or such like gone on the PCB I imagine. Any ideas? Or is it time for a replacement?
