Yes you can use it on a solo2 and the vix image however your first post should be an introduction so please can you post on in introductions under the chatbox ,thanks

can you not use dnla server and dnla browser plugins on them sure this should solve your issue

VU+ boxes have massive support compared to the Venton boxes at the minute , if you can afford the little extra in price get VU+ you will have no regrets wish you just paid the extra later

I have the hd3 gets warm at the tuners not very hot and stays warm even in standby unless you go into deep standby had no issues driving the dish or locking up ive had egami,vix,and openatv images on it no issues never locked up or froze so if your looking at the hd3 you will be ok

Have you got a slingbox?? you can setup 3 devices and built in free view tuner youll need the binary files if the device is not listed ,but you can only watch from 1 device you view from at a time only so you and you m8 cant both watch at 2 different places when you try it asks if the other user must be disconnected but you can change source if thats what you mean .

Is your box running again now? ,if not flash it again with a new copy of what version you were running so its up and running and you can restore through the menu ,or ftp the backup to the pc and put it on a flash drive and reflash again and youll be where you left off

Its also using the same set of commands already set for the ir sender that you used from the bin files just a different layout if you sit and play with your phone in the room where your slingbox and satbox are you can practice what does what and get your self out of issues with the remote if you want to view different satellites i would setup your settings on the box so it always shows bouquet first as blue button on android is an issue, i think ive already said this once the bin file is set on the slingbox it doesnt matter if you use a dlink boxee box slingcatcher pc or phone to watch you only set that up once
