there is an android player for your phone to watch the duo thru the slingbox and it changes channels etc as the slingbox holds the remote function files, its attatched here 2 of them in the file 2.05 for newer android phones and pads the other for 2.1 like my crappy phone lol

There was a fault with the list there is a repair in place for now look in the section again

You will need to have a look around , depending on your pc and how far it is from the box you can get capture cards that have hdmi ports on them a bit pricey £100 plus depending on your pc specs and os , you can get cheaper to work with composite video , dont try a usb one they are rubbish ,if you have a tv tuner card on your you could go the rf modulator route from the solo2 and coax to your pc and work the capture with software , havent seen what they give you in the way of software , do they not supply a list of supported devices ?youll need to find an angle that you can make work i didnt read too far into their website m8 :trbtjrjq:

use your remote leave the cursor on the channel you want to remove press menu and then move to remove entry and press ok

Looks like youll need a capture card on a pc and then upstream from there to them if that is what you are trying to do , expensive unless you want to stream to multiple persons , i would say go for a slingbox if its for personal use ,you can control your box from tablet phone pc boxee or slingcatcher , if you want to stream to +- 10 people and have a good speed use a vlc as a server

Glad to see you got sorted in the end there are even files for openboxes to be used on a slingbox i found an f3 or f5 easier to work over sling than a VU+ unless you leave it on always show bouquet its a bugger to get to other satellites never got round to sorting a custom blue button

Yes its a very funny one this knocks the tuner out and i have tried it on solo2 and venton hd3 same on both , take it you have the latest vix image ? This all seems to have started when all the new drivers etc came out , has anyone had issues with the latest blackhole ??

Use filezilla / menu information network on your box for the ip address then user root no password needed you can fill anything in there , i use vu+control centre on the vu+ toolbox version 2 never had an issue

Vix ive found to be very reliable i never liked blackhole its like windows 7 and windows 8 your going to like what you feel happy with
