The hd3 gets quite hot also above the tuners i would have expected it to be above the power supply , I have also noticed that im getting about a 5-7 % drop in signal intensity compared to my solo 2 event tried swapping coax to the lnb same result

I think you will find most everyone will go for a vu+ solo 2 it is the best box out at the minute

Have a look at the venton hd3 the site sponsor has them im pretty impressed with this box so far no issues at all and you can have them with a triple tuner its not much slower than my solo 2 , they can take 3.5 and 2.5 drives whats pretty handy

i got amiko alien 2 and it all worked fine 3 days.. after that start freezing.. somo help please? i didnt do anything to fcked box...
Best advice for you is to return the box if you have had it such a short time and get something better they are nothing but trouble , if you havent done anything to it you should have no issues getting a refund -
ady you will need to make sure your boxes connection to the intenernet check your network settings ,however it sounds like you bought this box ready working from someone , if its the case payservers are not allowed here and supporters of payserver wont be helped as per the rules ,so you will need to decide where you stand before asking further advice as you will not even be able to post your configs to be checked if this is the case

Hi thanks for bit more information and I've checked both boxes for the mac and they are both the same!! Could that be reason??

I would have thought 2.14 was pretty stable ,is the line you are using from a friend or from your own local to a second box? If its neither of these and you payed for it speak to the person you got it from as we cant help you
