    Last time i checked on a spare client box it was an average of 500mb a month with loads of channel hopping server is showing sent data of 41mb received data 70mb =110mb equating to 206 hours of viewing counting an ecm as 8 sec each ,= 0.53mb per hour of viewing on my setup

    there are a few issues firstly you are new and have no card to share , lots of us have plenty room on servers to help you out , but to be honest , id help anyone as its my nature but and it would cost me nothing but i dont know you from adam and you could be anyone from anywhere and wouldnt risk everyone elses enjoyment by getting caught out ,and thats the view most will have not that easy if you are new to this and putting nothing in , get a foreign sub even get setup and running and things will follow an f5 box isnt any good for trying to share any card other than a card using a boxkey , this forum is a hobby forum and not a free viewing forum and id like to think most of us are putting money into it like other hobbies ,not being funny but you seem to be wanting to do this on the cheap and it isnt , we are all putting our hands in our pocket and the jokers who arent get found out in the end , you maybe 100% genuine guy who knows , i started trying with an f5 just like you but i used my card and soon realised it was a road to no end and bought a solo 2 motorised dish and foreign cards including my uk card its cost me a lot but im also getting a lot of pleasure especially the porn , maybe you need to consider if this is a hobby or cheap sly ,as its also ending soon anyway , regards

    you will find the smallest of movements make a huge difference , i have an android phone and used the enigma signal meter for android to set my dish up and fine tune it after that to the weakest sats worked great and saved me £170 i was about to spend on a meter and could change channel with it to check other transponders , you need openwebif on to use it if you do try this method

    If you want to start then you need a card first if you dont have one now chances are you will never get one that will work now as a new customer . thats your first hurdle , then you need to setup dns free some places only if you dont have a static ip address , then you need a box or pc that you can set a server up on ,at this stage you would be better having a motorised dish and getting a card like upc or sat bg or jsc and share that to get sly if thats what you are after as opposed to sly for sly as its near to an end unless you get sly and put uk racing box nation or premier sports almost everyone has sly world package better still an irish card if your interest lies with sly uk but no knowing how long it will last you have caught the bus late for this package

    Its funny to hear that cccam is getting blame , its not the boxes i have family with them and no issues at all , on occasions the whole box may lock up thats all but no freezing issues payservers are the only servers that freeze due to capacity , you can cardshare off an f5 but would not be recommended ive not done that for extended periods

    i have also used dir615 routers off ebay at £8 each i bid for them put dd-wrt software in them this allows you to make a repeater bridge but also allows you to turn up the tx power output if you do this put them somewhere well vented as they get hotter dont turn it up too high unless you modify and fit heatsinks it will do your trick you can place them at the windows slightly more professional than windsurfer :taxman:
