Id go with a solo2 or wait till its in your budget its a great box, maxdigital xp1000 was a real good deal for the money down fall is no internal hdd however a real bargain at the price, if your going to get a duo rather wait for more cash and get a solo2 price difference doesnt reflect the difference of speed with the solo2 and it runs a server sweet as a nut no issues worth every penny and compact :shake:

No don't mean that placing it into a slybox the original receiver to get it to update entitlements , this is where the trouble starts , if you did this this is why you have an issue now

It all depends on what router you have just with it plugged in you should be able to go to menu/information/network and you will see what ip address the box has , the post with the backup tells yo the passwords ,and if you look for vu+ toolbox you will be able to connect via cline manager , the port forwarding you will need to google your model and youll find that information

Yes you can use your card while you share it you will either have a pc server and your box as a client or a box capable of being a server/client , if you are wanting an answer to your question , do what a number of people do , share a sub ! if you have a card costing say £80 a month for almost everything and you have 10 friends on your server and you all chip in £8 a month you will get a glitch free service for everyone and you wont be funding gangsters and criminals pimps drug dealers and leaching dole suckers that you are going to work to pay for their kids and housing and then paying for tv off them to sit on their kuffing a$$3S while you pay tax , yes we have a personal view on payservers support them and no one supports you simples
