I cant tell you the answer you might want but even 250-300 ms is very high mine are 80-103 ms on average on a solo2 are you running the card at the correct speed/MHZ and do you have a powered usb hub rather than one with power supplied off the motherboard as this increases speed also ?

have to laugh at peoples responces to my post but not to sound rude , but obviously you lot know exactly what the problem is. so come up with what the problem is and explain otherwise ,, keep your attitudes to yourself no need to be rude, and damm right obnoxious to people when they say dont know if its true or not, and people wonder when other people find the real reason and know how to fix the issues people never post or respond, 98% of people on here make out its for hobby.. now i know for a fact thats BS, and half of them probably have pay servers, reason for nasty posts is there not willing to except any other reasons fro whats going off as today,, pairing method is taking off, with uk,. so watch most of them fall like flies,
We may not all be hobbyists as this will happen every forum will have payserver faking it in fake Britain but you got rightfully shot down by hobbyists , there is a large number of real hobbyists here and this is also what the site is for admin try their best to rid payservers choose your words better unless you are drinking then come back and apologies when you sober up :agony: -
I assume you have tried another remote batteries etc already m8 as if your kids are like mine everything keeps getting dropped possibly the actual remote its self
-
Try vix first migh be easier you will likley stay with vix in the long run its given me no issues very stable , i didnt like blackhole but thats just personal choice
-
To be honest if you are having a hard time use a backup image from the section for solo2 vix or blackhole they are all setup and ready to roll , and take it from there , will be an easier start for you i cheated and did this also with a vix image when i got my solo2 it didnt learn me fast but got me going spot on and i played around from there

-
To be honest guy sly is finished and thats no good for a motorised setup bin it and save your self a headache give it to someone you hate lol
:beated: -
I would have thought at that price peeps would jump at it considering whats going on
-
it also wont show in dcc if it doesnt have a valid ip address your menu information network will tell you the boxes ip address it thinks it has if it ends 169 its invalid
-
should be yes for dhcp let your router issue the ip to the set top box if it was no thats your issue if you specify an ip address you need to do it for every device to avoid conflicts
-
try a laptop straight in the router if you cant get a long enough cable stream bbc iplayer for an hour or so and see if it plays up , and do a few speed and ping tests , then you can eliminate the router ive been crying for 2 weeks with a card now but im determined lol dont give up walk away and come back to it
-
maybe but a cable direct to it will answer that straight away home plugs are the best thing to use or a proper wireless extender with Ethernet ports like a netgear WN2000RPT
-
try a cable and see if the issue continues to happen , firstly wireless can be iffy if there is a lot of other routers about and wireless devices might be a new one as of your troubles started , you could try a different channel first , but the cable will tell you if its your router and give you a definite answer to your troubles
-
are you trying to ping it from the pc with command prompt with the boxes ip address or as samba dnla device , id try ping it first and take it from there your box should also show on your router as a connected device im assuming this is wired and not wireless ?
-
Are you using a cline or do you have a local card ? as regards freezing , have you checked your router settings as regards your internet and dcc and checked box settings in menu/ network
-
look in the openbox section everything is there
