Question for you can you use SNP picons I havent tried them but would be good to know as they work when a channel gets a transponder swap ?

I have thermal tape on the way so i can remove the heat sink and mill a 17mmx17mm pocket in it for the fan managed to get a 17x17x5 fan :) so by the weekend ill have the job done hopefully

Thank guys ive done all of this today so think a fresh start is in order even flashed snifferdsx backup to see where i was going wrong and it worked , went back to mine same settings not :) ill give a try tomorrow night again ive had picon folders all over this image and set new paths , its been a pain but good at the same time good play

im going to start fresh new picons and sd fresh copy and see . but not tonight i can live without picons time to watch a bit

Im not at all surprised ,too much on one unit to contend with no need for e2 im going to try a powered usb hub to see if the ecm times come down no freezing just high

Steve connect by SSH to WeTek Play, do this command:
mkdir /storage/picons
Now with FileZilla connect to WeTek Play, and you should see directory picons.
Transfer there all your picons
Go to tvheadend General section tab and in picon path:
file:///storage/picons
Click on Save, reboot device and that's all.
Ive done all that m8 and still nout im going to change the picons ,its the only thing i havent done they arent snp either simple thing grrrrr

Its Sunday Jim and I am in no hurry. I did as you ask and even though I had already tried to 'Force Scan' before I still could not get and response. I notice also that there is no data (other than 0) showing for the network name.
Look here also buddy between the 2 guides youll make a better understanding of it

Like i say im not 100 percent sure I I had a card and a few weeks id be able to tell you , someone may have very well got one working by now but till more are out and more questions are asked pass who knows , this card is the last hurdle and so far as im aware cannot be used in an sd box and they havent been sending them out for hd either hence lucky you

Dont thinks so m8 the atr is different and oscam and other cams so far dont open the card at all ive been trying my best to get that card and failed at every attempt they have been few and far between , i could be wrong but ive not been following the developments on it I resigned myself to having to wait

As far as im aware dont think they are able to be used , i may be wrong as most have had a struggle getting one

Firstly did you backup any thing before you updated the box like your cccam.cfg for instance ??? or have a copy of it ??

If you had nothing backed up and you acquired the box form someone already set up youll need to contact them as a software update wipes data clean and is also pretty pointless on those boxes
