Just a normal $kybox or Dreamb0x.
STB = Set top box, youll be ok to use it on a dreambox

If you are using an STB the best thing you can do is install lss addons plugin there you will get cams and configs for all packages already setup for you and the card you wish to read in oscam this way the job is done for you

The only people having issues updating are the ones who block unique emm at the moment there are so many changes how can you be sure you know when emm is due i dont see any point for blocking unique , allow unique and log them block the rest on a permanent basis would be good advice

I want to do something is correct to be done.
As far is I know there are many type of connecting 2 Emus. , but which one the best or correct way to be done.My thinking is to use OSCam as a reader , CCcam as a peering work. Intermediately there should be a communication point btwn. these 2 emulators.

The only emm you need to update a card is unique , start a post in the correct place and post your configs ,if you like i have dvbapi configs you can load and try to update your card with I can post , things to know is what is the original box you are paired to and how long have you left on your dates right now and what box or pc setup you are using ,the above is correct but i would block shared also and it might be an idea to start logging emm in the future so you can see that you are getting them because even repeats you will see as having been sent giving you a good indication that emm are still being sent to you and you are getting them ,enable au for a few trusted peers also

i see pigs flying and cows growing grass. If it was back we wouldn't be losing channels all over the place. I have 10 different units one had a new release of oscam installed yesterday 05/06/14 and there all still off.
I give it 12 months it will all be gone sd/hd and anything else running this way.muppet......................

does that mean that you can run up to 4 boxes off the one cline and every box capable of watching different chns at the same time , surely the sat provider you are subscribing to would know this and not be too impressed and possibly close your account ...only learning about this stuff lately so be patient if the questions sound stupid...
You should be using a line from a friend or your own card providers are sly etc not payservers as you are meaning they are parasites

What is the best scart to hdmi upscaler or hdmi to hdmi upscaler that REALLY does work or does at least make a better difference for now ? or is it not worth wasting time trying to upscale ? maybe a temp fix just to improve picture quality slightly.
Some tvs have upscalling built in and adjustments to reduce noise but to be honest sd is sd and isnt as bad as iptv

oscam devs was the "1st" to fix the swap, well blueven, csp dev/s was stuff you lot if you cant do a simple task dont use csp, so someone come along and seen the £££ signs to exploit people, iv said it before the same will happen, but not until they have made tens of 1000s of pounds from it, and it get leaked etc, or someone comes along and un do there work, always happens......look at csp swap for instance :)
No one will fix this without inside information you cant reverse engineer what you dont know the mechanics of

sorry correction 2 pair telco only 4 wires needed ,you might find you had a broken wire in the run if it was old wiring Toothfairy this house is 2 years old so all wiring is behind plasterboard and new ,this is the only reason i went this route to avoid wiring and keep ping times to 1ms

That works , just save them to the pc with dreamset , delete and write them back when you are done scanning , tested it to make sure it wasnt bad advice , but i just loaded catseyes and ran amb again

Ordinary telephone cable will not do as an Ethernet cable if you are BT infinity
They work perfectly fine m8 you are watching channels off a server that is running on 4 pair telco converted to ethernet you still get 100mb thru it just not gigabit thru infinity

Try homeplugs or if there is a phone extention to your sons room use the telephone line and convet it to ethernet you only need 4 wires to get it working

its not that bad just hd only for now still a good hobby and there is other satellites, only sad for pay servers but they made this happen with greed

Al these channels will not clear in a thomson either as per your other post they stopped in oscam and official thomson boxes
