Not dragging it out they have to migrate customers off old boxes so its being done slow so they have time to migrate and take bookings because otherwise they will have to compensate for the loss of service if they cant do them fast enough so its a gradual push that will become harder and harder, they cant antagonize customers they also want to keep them , not all are cs subs

Anyone know any big servers still clearing hd that's missing I don't see any only one in Italy and it's not live and one I the UK also not live no one will know anything for sure till its all been completed as far as mpeg4 and codec concerns that will be for 4k when it roll out that has nothing to do with hd going

basically your card getting update & your box isn't until the box get update IE TO RECOGNISE THE UPDATE ON CARD you cannot view hd channels
in which case if you update the box it will be useless for cs as the box will be hard paired with card,
as for sd channel they half expected most of people to be on hd but that wasn't happen so who knows we may lose sd as well in future in meantime enjoy while it available
