If you are going to use oscam you do not need to input a box key it does it for you , all you need to do is stop cccam running , install oscam ftp this files to the config folder in tuxbox , have your card in the correct slot ,start oscam and give it 30 secs , reason i say oscam is so you update ok and it will work as you are not running a server you dont need to learn or do anything except the above , sorry was asleep as nightshift

oscam doesnt use a box key , its not needed, cccam you can use also if you want to , i would use oscam though search for the boxkey calculator its on the site not sure where and add the boxkey to the cccam .cfg
-
you will be better using oscam install it and put these files in the /var/tuxbox/config folder and your card will also update ok
webinfo user and password is( admin )and port 4000

Get a connection off a reliable share , have you any local cards at all ?Glitching is not normal at all with reliable share
-
Use the search box top right
-
your card wont update yet again its at the maximum period almost you need to give it a few weeks
-
If its is a local card try oscam but it sounds like you are getting sly uk via share a lot of these cards are going now due to new pairing so servers are overloaded especially payservers so glitching like you describe will occur as a client cccam should be fine but seems more like your issue is at source and you are getting told stories by the supplier

The wall doesnt really count if its not square / plumb ,turn your spirit level 180 degrees on its self to make sure it gives the same reading the other way up and its not telling lies , your bracket should be slightly slotted for adjustment if its a t&k
Make sure you have no skew on the lnb the dish rolls over on the motor doing it for you
-
Hello Buddy , if you are on about the pole between the t&k bracket its more important that its plumb with a spirit level and checked in 2 positions 90 degrees from each other rather than a measurment from the wall a such , eg if its facing you check it left or right of it and the side facing you , disregard any distance from the wall as it might not be plumb , if you are still struggling closer to the end of the month we have a trip your way planned and hopefully work commitments wont change,i could come give you a hand set it up in the evening rather than go straight back to the hotel , This is the first and one of the most important steps setting up a motorized dish as it wont track the arc properly if not right , the others being your dish evevation , motor elevation off the chart for the motor and the other direction you are pointing and your co-ordinates being right also for usuals and the elevation on the motor bracket you set up and dish elevation hope this make sense just woke

Sounds to me like you are not using a local card and cline from some where else and it isnt a signal issue at all your server connection is dropping possibly because it is a oscam server and keep alive isnt set to yes on your account and the recording will be because anticascading is enabled not allowing you to clear more than one channel at a time , the box isnt the issue at all i dont think correct me if im wrong and you have a local card and we can take it from there
-
Not with dns you need a vpn to do that
-
You cannot be offering money someone with spare time will help you ,use search there was a post on this , im on my way out so dont have time to look for it

The venton boxes were better speed wise as had 2 cores if you can stretch to £250 you can buy an ultimo on fleebay it dual core also more flash and genuine etc i would do that rather than a duo or xpeed lx2 personally , the duo is good but limited
ill pm a link the sponsor has none

I'm using oscam as a client to connect to a server, cccam, mgcamd work ok, though I'd try oscam configured with ***uk 28.2 but like I said slow to open channels, specially switching from fta to a premium channel
What yo are saying is you dont have a local card then ? and if you are a client thats what yo are there is nothing to configure really ,you clearing times are a server issue then or connection ,why not just use cccam this will take the cline and nline ,if you have no local there is not much point of oscam

it's the thomson twins :48_002:
Doctor Doctor ,can you see my card is burning ! -
Sounds like it might have a memory leak or something trying to run ,the fastest way to find out if its hardware is to flash a fresh image ,and see if it occurs again and take it from there as this will rule out processes trying to run and corruption within the image
-
Its working now paired to a thomson but now your m8 wants his box back ?? the thomson being his box ,really is this a wind up ?are you playing pass the thomson ???
