I have but it all seems a little hit and miss, after the fudge up with testing the new image the other week I flashed the bootloader and then the image and all worked fine for a few days but then crashes and all goes t*ts up again, so am now at a loss.

Ok I have a solo and since getting it I have had nothing but problems, all images seem un-stable and crash all the time, a few weeks ago I tried one of the latest images which has made it worse, now I can't load any images via usb at all, and just get a blue screen.

Tried loading an image with the cable and it just goes to 20% and doesn't do anything else.

I'm on the verge of getting shut now as it's really p*ssing me off so any help would be very much appreciated.

I'd say if your box is working fine at the moment don't bother with this people as these boxes are so un-stable, installing any firmware can give you massive headaches so if it ain't broke don't fix it is my advise....

Not really any ground breaking improvements anyway.

Not quite sure, but they were the only ones that worked for me at the time, but for some reason all the newest lists i've made dont work which is the reason i've not posted updates to this.

The software for these boxes is just too tempermental and the tools available for editing channels are rubbish making it no easy task to make lists for these things.

Thanks Ten your a Legend! got it all working now, BUT ended up having to do a full re-install, i messed it all up, but now i have a fresh install all working but i can copy any files via ftp to my server keeps saying permission denied i know how to chmod + chown etc but none of this is helping, any ideas mate?

ok installed libgdk-pixbuf.so.2 now i get

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display

the same as you how do i solve this?

Installing all the files went fine now when i try to run i get

'error while trying to load shared binaries: libgdk-pixbuf.so.2'

Hi, I have had a bad flash on my DM500 and need to run dreamup to reflash it, only pc I have has Ubuntu on it so I want to flash it in ubuntu does anyone have an easy install guide, I have googled it and tried a few but none work???

if you read the forum mate there are ton's of tutorials on the very thing you want to do, ready made images for you dm500 etc, it's pretty easy to do......

yes when i get time will do mate.

the reason i supplied firm1 and 2 is because this is the only way i could get it to save the frequencies for all channels, if you follow the tut it's not that hard guy's.........

I use a inline filter with my s11 as I was losing channels and this fixed the problem for me, some openboxes have dodgy tuners........

only updated the full flash fella's and not the channel list on it own if people want it though i will do.......

tested on s11 and no epg numbering, annonymousx firmware, its flipflop converted for openbox!!!

Need some help here guy's my s11 is well and truley bricked, woke up one morning and the screen was just blue so turned it off and back on now the display is just black I have tried every firmware loader there is but it does the dowload part and when it comes to burn the flash gives me an error after 6% even tried another cable still get the same.

Tried 20+ times now with all different firmwares, any help appreciated as if it cant be fixed it's going to ebay tonight for spares and i'm deffo not getting another because i've had nothing but problems with these boxes.:beat_brick:
