Cant get arm-coolstream to work for me...this thing should be renamed the Raspberry Pia for 'pain in arse' trying to get it running.....lol
Your compiled version runs fine for me though, but I need the latest version to get my cache server running correctly.
Ok got oscam running, could some kind person please post the latest compiled file for me?
Build 7981 or above.
Thanks.
Will give it a try, cheers mate.
I did get packages first, and then all the steps in order, I just cant see why its not working for me, I've even reformatted the card and tried again still get to same point of compiling and get the errors......
Yep followed to the letter, not working for me had to install packages to even get this far 'make' and 'subversion'
Getting these error while trying to build?

I'm planning on getting one of these today and tranfering my setup from pc tower to this, I run 2 instances of oscam now on the pc one for cache only and one for shares, may need some help in getting 2 instances running?
Can I just add
/usr/local/bin/oscam1 -b -c /usr/local/etc
/usr/local/bin/oscam2 -b -c /usr/local/etc/configs2 -t /tmp/.oscam2
this to rc.local?
will this make the second oscam look else where for it configs?
having big problems getting this working as all my directories are different to the one in the tut above and i've never really done init scripts before any help?
So how will the second oscam know to look in a different location for its configs?
I know i'll have to use different ports for each as thats what im doing now just not on one machine.
Looking to setup 2 instances of oscam on my pc server (one for cs and the other for cache only)
Can I just set them up so:
Place a copy of oscam named 'oscam1' along with my 'oscam'(which I already have running) in to /usr/local/bin
oscam 1 looks to /usr/local/etc for its configs
oscam 2 looks to /usr/local/etc/configs2 for its configs
Then would I just have to edit the init to start them both on boot?
Or do I have this all wrong and it's not that simple?
Thanks.
Thought it would be as easy as said but wanted to make sure before I brake any thing lol.
Think i'll just go for the chop and new plug.
Cheers chaps.
What do you mean a peice of wire with a 3 pin plug on? I would still have to iprn the box and wire it inside.
Bit of a random one but, my solo as most has a 2 pin plug which I use a 'shaving adapter' for to to adapt it to a 3 pin uk plug.
Question is can I cut of the 2 pin plug and wire a new 3 pin one cirectly to it? Reason being the way I have them plugged in it sticks out too far with the adapter etc and keeps getting knocked and is gonna get broke.
Cheers.
Would be great to get rid of the big tower server and just have one of these in the back of the tv running everything, would be better thean running a raspberry pi, if I can get a hold of one cheap I might give this a bash, would be cool to also have all the funtionality of a smart tv too.....
Would be cool if you could get oscam running from one of these new android smart tv usb sticks that are popping up on ebay.

Hi i'm looking for the starview hd combo + firmware which turns your box into a spiderbox.
The file is called 'I was bored one day'
I can't find it anywhere, could some kind person post a download link for me please?
cheers.
Already have three of these setup in my house and can say they do work fine in bridge mode with dd-wrt!
Cheaper than most wireless adapters, gives you 4 ports to plug stuff in and also extends your wireless range around the house.
