I have a solo2 with vix3.0 build 808 I used vix to backup my image to hdd and it has worked fine.
I want to flash my mates box with my backup image how do I do this?
I have FTP the backup from my hdd to the desktop and extracted the file.
File name vusolo2-3.0.808-2014-01-20_21-44.tar
Folders extracted etc temp usr
Do I need to create a folder call vu plus and place etc temp usr into it? Or just place the vusolo2-3.0.808-2014-01-20_21-44.tar onto a USB and flash my mates box

Change generate main bouquet to yes coustom
Now all channels are the same as ***
Hi all I have a solo2 setup using vix 3.0 build 808 with cross epg and open tv 28.2 e and auto bouquets maker.
If type in 101 on the remote bbc 1 hd will come on no problem and the info bar says 101 bbc1hd.
If I press epg and change to movies and select *** premier hd when the channel changes the info bar says 1186 *** premier hd. It shud say 301 *** premier hd does any one no how I can fix this problem??

Page 5 at the very bottom u will see 4.9 ipk file
Down load it and follow the steps in the last post

Down load ts media 4.5 extract it to desk top then FTP into the temp folded using dcc.
Menu
Vix
Install Local extension
Install ipk
Restart solo 2
U can then update ts media to 4.9
yes i saved all and restared the box again. i checked line again has one letter wrong FAT FINGERS LOL

in the past for black hole images i installed a full 2.3.0 full cccam from tspanel or download and install ipk. when i edited the blackhole cam cccam cfg i went to line number 80 and put my line in (hostname port username password)
i have deleted everything in the cccam cfg and put in my line and activated the cam and restarted the box but no joy
its in there but its not full cccam as i have no where to add my line (hostname port username password)

i in stalled cccam 2.14 but i cant see were to add my line ftp/var/etc/cccam cfg
were can i find a full cccam for the latest vix image?

been through it can't find a uk 1 the latest image in in turkish.
this is to setup my old box that i sold to my mate over a year ago he is not tech minded and hasn't got a clue how to set up the box or do anything eles other than change the channel and watch tv no matter what i have showed him over the past year he just rings me to fix the box if sumthing goes wrong. this is basicaly to save me time

Am no expert on paint shop pro but I think you can adjust the amount of pixels in any picture so you get a better quality picture when you increase then size or change it in any way. Did you try using ms paint?
In picons downloads form memory there is a post from MMC media who has made a master picon in black or carbon which is set up in paint shop pro. You can drag in any picture you like resize it and remove the background layer from it and drop the picture onto MMC medias master picon.
I hope that makes some sense

Hi you could use MMC black picons. If you have paint shop pro you can simply resize all of them from 100x60 to 220x132 or you could use ms paint.
Drag and drop the picon into either one of these
Then resize aspect ratio to 220x132 pixels
Save as png
Have fun
Thanks for the help guys am still a bit skeptical as I read bad reports about tooway it's supposed to work great for a month or two then it slow to the same speed as dial up and there support is supposed to be crap but I will give them a call on Monday to find out more. The wife is not so keen on the large dish that has to be put up. I don't think you can use the *** dish to receive the broadband package.
