  • tsmedia & kodi screen too small

    so i sat up last night and managed to get my new solo setup.
    i still have one problem tho.
    everything is good apart from when i click on tsmedia or on kodi.
    they come on to the screen ok but they are only fitting into the top left hand side of my tv only filling the first quater of the tv screen.
    is there a way to get them fullscreen ?

    hi all, i have purchased a vu solo se v2 from the sponsor om here.
    i have a vu solo already but its been that long since i set it up i have forgotten how to do so.
    is there anywhere i can download the latest blackhole image backup to flash to it.


    or if i have to is there a link to the setup of it.

    hi all, i am looking to purchase a new box from the sponsor, world of satellite.
    i get most of the jargon on here but i am a bit comfuddled about the meaning of the following, as in what are the differences ?


    THIS VERSION IS FITTED WITH 1X TWIN DVB-S/S2 TUNER MODULE


    &


    THIS VERSION IS FITTED WITH 1X TWIN HYBRID DVB-C/T/T2 TUNER MODULE


    could someone please tell me the difference and what they mean.

    hi all. i already have a vu solo but am currently looking to purchase another box and staying with the vu range.


    i see a lot of other vu makes out there but would be unsure of what is what.
    if i give you a list could you suggest to me which you think would be best.

  • is the latest blackhole image to big for my solo ?

    i have flashed 2.0.5. and 2.0.4. and just get a blank screen :23_002:
    so i have now reverted back to 2.0.3


    taken from the second paragraph of the 2.0.4. image on here "Solo and Duo only:
    The 1920x1080 framebuffer support has required extra Ram usage. For this reason the old Solo and Duo models do not have enough free ram to run the curent images with these new features."

    so not looking good and if 2.0.4. dont work i dont see how 2.0.5 will work ? !!


    taken from first sentance of 2.0.5 image on here, and no mention of a solo. "New: HQ 5 Full Hd Skin 1920x1080 (duo2, solo2, soloSe, uno, ultimo, zero)

  • is the latest blackhole image to big for my solo ?

    hi all, i have for the last few years owned a vu solo.
    i was/am currently running blackhole 2.0.3 on it and thought tonight i would got to 2.0.5.
    but whenever i load it to my box via usb and it loads. then when i restart my solo i get nothing but a blank screen.
    i then read that 2.0.4 would not run on the solos because of the amount of ram/rom or something likr that.
    so is this the end of my blackhole days ?

  • playing an iso file on vu

    hi all, i have received a dvd and burned it to my pc but it is in iso format.


    i want to ftp it to the harddrive on my vu solo to be able to watch it.
    if i do this will the vu be able to play the iso file
    or is there an alternative easier way to go about this.

    well i just downgraded to a previous ts media and it is playing some movies but still wont download them.
    i get as far as the active download screen and the movie title appears for about 3/4sec and then just disappears ?

    so i am kinda confused here.
    i got the latest tsmedis on wed night and it worked like a dream, i could watch movies and i could download them as well which i did.
    soo.... the next day i went back into tsmedia amd yet again i am unable to watch or download any movies.


    when it was working fine it was shockshare that seemed to play/download the best.


    i go to the same sites on my pc and my pc will play the movies from the sites but not from my box.


    what am i missing here, its driving me crazy.
    any ideas please.
