cannot open crossepd database, is a message that flashes up then i get a green screen and crash.
i have disabled all other epg suppliers and am now only working from rytec.

any ideas please ?

hi all i am running my solo on bhole 2.1.0 and it was working great for a while but now for some reason that i cannot seem to work out the downloaded epg will not appear on the epg !!

i am not overly sure on how many epg suppliers i am supposed to have setup but i have rytec and open all setup to download, wheather or not these may be conflicting each other i have no idea

any help would be greatly appreciated

on further analysis i have got one movie to play from the movie/cartoon section but it will not let me download

any ideas ?

i had no internet for about a month and just got eircom on today
i plugged in the box and updated tsmedia to the latest version (i always thought it was "movies 24" where i watched/downloaded the movies from but all i see now is movies 25 !!)
anyway i just plugged in the box and updated it but cant seem to watch movies or download them.

i am not using a proxy and it is ts media 7.8 full

hi all, i have recently had to change my broadband providers and i am now with eircom broadband in the rep of ireland.

my question is:
i no that eircom have banned access to certain torrent sites but that there are ways to combat this.
what i am not sure of is that when i try to play a link or download a movie via tsmedia it says "unable to get link" straight away.
so i am wondering is this down to eircom banning torrent sites or could it be a fault at my end ??

I would deffo not consider this as an "option" but an "emergency necessity" for fulltime viewing..

one you go over the limit it automatically cuts off so no extra cost. its like a pay as you go phone, no credit no calls.
the neighbour says his pal runs the f5 and his daughter has a tablet running off it as well as mobiles and a pc and they get a full month out of it.

but is it as simple as plug it into the solo and away we go ?

i am having difficulties with my current internet provider.
i was in next door with a neighbor and he produced this: "Huawei Mobile Broadband Wi-Fi device E5220" and he proceeded to tell me that he has a mate running an f5 box from this.

my question is:
if i purchase this will i be able to connect this directly to my solo and use it ?

just like it says above, is there a thread that shows the whole setup for setting up your machine from a blank image to the finished product.

i have always used backup images but would really like to be able to build my own image from start to finish.

i am on bhole 2.0.3. because i have always used ten below's backup images but he does not seem to do them anymore.
as for creating the image myself i would not know where to start.
i have looked on here but just get completely lost when i start.

are there currently any backup images that would be modern enough to run xbmc and that would have plenty of free ram

i have tried to update bhole on the box but nothing happens.

hi all, as it says above, i have been struggling with this all day.

i have the xbmc installed on my box.
i am running bhole 2.0.3
as far as i know i have all the xbmc software updated......:26_002:
i down load and ftp to the proper folder (as specified in other threads on here) the addon i wish to use and it appears where it should.
when i click on that addon it says i need to install certain scripts so i do as stated.
then when i click on the addon again ... nothing happens, it just stays on the same screen with no messages or nothing !! :23_002:

i am not sure what or where i have gone wrong but something is telling me that it has to do with the software update, either i am missing something or doing too many.

for my cache i am storing it in media/usb/

i have read through numerous other threads on here but still cannot get it.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

nope, nothing. grrrr..... thats another wright off of a topic and tried 2 usbs.
anyway now for something off topic.
is there anywhere on here that gives a complete walkthrough of building your own image from scratch ?

the solo does reconise the usb stick.
when i go to device manager there is nothing there.

what format should i have it on.

that is pretty much the way i have it setup already.
the only problem i am having now reading through that is that where the epg backup is to set the location for it, the usb.
it is not an option.
like i said it is still on fat 32 whether or not that makes a difference.

i have formatted the usb to different thingymebobs in the past but for some reason or other when i mount them as mount points they dissapear of the system after a bit as well.
so do i formatt the usb or not ?

if so format it to what ?

also how many partitions, do i format it via blackhole or tspanel ?

hi all,
i am currently using "Black Hole 2.0.3 Hyperspace VU+Solo Backup By Ten Below." image on my solo.

i have a memory stick in the back of it in fat 32 format

it image is working great all apart from the fact that if i was to reflash the image i only get 7 days epg after that there is nothing.

so silly as it sounds every week i am reflashing my box just to get a 7 day epg.

i am doing everything right in my own mind as to where everything should be stored.

any ideas please,
