When I get a second box I'll spend a bit of time playing with different images...problem is, once you're up running and stable, its very hard to be bothered downing everything and starting afresh :dribble:

And I thank you for posting as I was about to grap it from the app store. very happy with Dreambox Live.
Hopefully its updated at some point for HD! Might only be a possibility on an Ultimo though without on the fly transcoding via a PC though...
Is your audio / video sync 100%? Mines always a bit out....not that annoying but I'd prefer it was perfect!

Unfortunately its *exactly* the same as Dreambox Live....so if you've already bought or stroked that, don't bother....

Vix will be supporting the box price could be near the £600 mark and im not sure if you will get 3 sat tuners at that price
And theres the 64 million $$ question!!
If you only get 1 tuner for that and its another hundred or so per extra tuner then I'm out....I'll just buy Scoot's Duo :47_002:

If you've quite a few then the cost per conversion wouldn't be too bad!
That's definitely the easiest option....PC options would be a fair bit cheaper but would involve a bit more tweaking!

An old DVD recorder would do the job simply...I'm sure you could pick up one on eBay for pittence, connect the VHS to the recorder and you're all set to record to DVD while the tape is playing,
if you want to connect to a PC you'll need a VIVO graphics card (Video In Video Out) or a 3rd party go between box and appropriate software...a bit more complicated but obviously you have a lot more control!

when you say rename to oscam - do i need to rename Oscam or oscam - i.e. does the capital matter?
lower case 'o' mate! Capitals don't matter with Windows boxes....Linux is case sensitive!

You could install 'Glass System Utility' - it will give you a fair bit of info straight from the box!

You should be able to see these from the CCcam server web page - http://local-ip:16001
your username and password can be set from your cccam.cfg file!
