typically I'm now going to a BBQ on the 2nd....grrrrrrrrrr :22_002:
another thing to bear in mind is that the more boxes (clients) you have viewing the same channel ,the more strain you put on the card,,finally leading to freezing/glitching
Obviously something you want to avoid...what would limits tend to be?
Is glitching only caused by too many people watching the *same* channel?
best thing to do is install the Blackhole standalone backup util manually...take a backup and the reflash to BH 1.6.2 Sly UK ready!
Once you've backed up and reflashed, restore your backup via the menu and voila!
Manually take a copy of your cccam.cfg file as the backup doesnt! Restore that back to the /etc directory and you'll be up and running!
Had to laugh....just reformatted my main HTPC due to this not picking up a trojan which all but obliterated the OS :65:
Ah well....it needed a clear out anyway :76:
I've been playing around with picons so much I'm beginning to think I've buggered something lol
I've moved all my picons to /media/usb/picons and can see them fine in the Cool TV Guide but can't see them when bringing up channel info via the 'ok' button....
Can't seem to find anywhere in the settings to get them to show so can someone point me in the right direction? beer10
Tricky,
if you don't want to use an external program to edit your bouquets - from any channel, press 'up arrow' and then scroll to the channel you want to delete, press 'menu' and then 'remove entry'
Good shout, cheers!
Just Disney?
Do you have it as a local or is it a share?
running blackhole 1.6.2 . duo receiver . cool tv plugin & cross epg plugin . three cams installed . Cpu only at 67% . picons etc are on usb stick . Have you added a 3rd tuner or anything as this eats about an extra 20% cpu resource?
new2
No 3rd tuner and I have everything where it should be....dear knows!! Mines constantly at 98%...
I get green screens the odd time...only when messing around with settings so its not all bad!
Time to get my Ultimo pre order in :11_002:
i a bit puzzled so with this gadget and the dreambox HD and TV HD if sly transmit 3D i should be able to see it propperly???
why there is a projector there?? any one know more about this and post some info..
cdr,
this is for creating a pseudo 3D from a 2D source and displaying it on a 3D TV, projector or monitor!
So it takes 2D content and converts it to 3D? Sounds like a bit of a gimmick?!
im not getting some movie channels espn america racing uk and sl2 r pick but getting pick+1 some living channels things like that
hmm...i get 70% with ESPN America & Racing UK and they come up fine :06:
Is it affecting your viewing? 82% is fine tbh....I get less on other sats and the signal is great!
I'm sure we could help you here tricky!
The IRC channel might be a good place to get some live step by step help!
Its all very easy when you know how! I'm relatively new myself but have my Duo perfect now with a little help from the guys here!
Can't get better than 3 endorsements at once!! :51_002:
Download Cool TV Guide! Invaluable front end and very customisable!
Version 4.0 has just been released as well!
Not sure what you mean....what's the '50mg pack'?
If its a 50Mbit internet connection then its way more than enough!
What box are you going to be using to receive your satellite signals?
Your modem won't act as the server...you'll need a Linux server or Linux satellite receiver to send and receive your CS info!
Check so you don't have loaded picons to the flash memory...
They're on my USB stick!
Was reading about a bit last night....this appears to be quite common with Linux creating a cache and it looking like all the memory is used but its just for speed purposes...
not sure...only reason I'm asking is because I've had a few green screens recently and they've been memory related!
