hmm...sounds like its not restarting after you upload your bouquets...

have you TSpanel installed? If so..try installing a bouquet list from there and see if that makes any difference...

If DBE is failing to connect on port 80...check your OpenWebIf port is setup correctly!

    Hi sandman

My duo is static ip and I have uninstalled and put new emus in and I only put this image back on couple wks ago from fresh.

TBH it sounds like the issue I moved from BH from...I had this problem from day 1 and stuck it out until a few months ago when I moved to ViX...

haven't had an issue since lol...so its either recent improvements in OSCam that fixed it or for whatever reason BH just wasn't playing ball for me!

Next time it happens...check your OSCam web interface on 8888 (or whatever port you have it set to) and see if theres an error in reading the serial interface...

Did you get a mini serial board in the box with the Uno?

How much under the RRP did you pay and why do you think it may be a clone?

Does it really matter? That depends what measures Vu+ put in place to detect clones in their image releases and how well clones are going to be supported by image teams!

If its working, then no...it doesn't really matter ;)

me and a couple of mates are going to set up a private cs just for the 3 of us the one who will be running the server already has the full *** package and the other two of us are going to sub his bill , the only thing that concerns me is I've read that if your using *** BB they can tell that your csing is this true will he have to change his BB provider thanks

Unless you send the requests over SSL, yes...they will be able to tell *if they want to*....whether they check or not is another thing but I wouldn't be taking the chance tbh...

lol...I really don't think there is one Fred!

You may just get her a box of her own and lock her away somewhere when you've something you need to watch :snicker:

Hi all . Just wanted to know is there a way to log onto my csp remotely. I mean can I log onto it from an android phone or other laptop etc.

    Cheers

Do you mean the web interface or the configuration?

    web interface -

If you open the port on your router and forward it to your CSP server then yes...you should have no problem opening it remotely!

    eg.

    your dns is - mydns.dyndns.org
you access your CSP server locally using - http://192.168.0.100:xxxx

open port xxxx on your router and forward it to 192.168.0.100

you can then access http://mydns.dyndns.org:xxxx and you should see your interface fine!

    TF,

as your kit is hard wired you don't need to worry about wireless SSID's...when you run the network test on your Ultimo, does it give you all 'OK's?

with a local or a share?

Sometimes I see my local 3D channel not clearing and need to restart OSCam.....weird really!

    Mirahak,

I don't have a BT Broadband box but recently set one up for someone here...

To give you something before an expert comes along, in the router settings, go to advanced settings and you can add a custom port to a service (giving it a name) and then assign the service to your server...I can't remember the exact steps to get to each area so have a mess around and hopefully someone can give you a more definitive answer!

Hi guys have ubuntu 10.04 cccam 2.1.4 server running sweet as a nut .. the only down fall is no boxnation so i need to add oscam ,, so this means i need to change cccam to 2.1.3 and put oscam in would i be better off completely reinstalling the lot or is there a quick fix :)

reinstall the lot as in format and start over or just redo your cams? I'd redo your cams :)

How would i do a complete backup of my debian server incase of any problems and i wanted to restore all my working settings i have now. Im after a making a image backup. If not what do you guys do??

You can backup with this command -

    Quote

    tar cvpzf backup.tgz --exclude=/proc --exclude=/lost+found --exclude=/backup.tgz --exclude=/mnt --exclude=/sys /

and restore with this command -

    Quote

    tar xvpfz backup.tgz -C /

at that point you just need to restore the directories you've excluded ie.

    mkdir proc
    mkdir lost+found
    mkdir mnt
    mkdir sys
