What channels are you trying to clear mate??

Try the ORF channels on 19 east..

Yip your correct it is based on PLI also.. It should work also...

As far as I know Dreamboxuk image is PLI based...

So if there is a PLI version use that..

automatic fullbackup

As promised here is a simple plugin to plan and make automatic back-ups.

This plugin is a recycled autobackup plugin (the automatic settings backup)

The plugin can be found after installation in the plugins menu (Menu->Plugins-> Automatic Fullbackup).

There are 3 lines to configure:

1 - Backup location (HDD/USB/SD/NAS there is NO check on validity of the medium!)

2 - Daily automatic backup (activated or deactivated)3 - Automatic starttime (choose your time to let the backup cycle run)

Yellow button = start the backup process manual/immediately.

This plugin comes as it is, no or little support, no warranties and most likely no updates

The backups are placed in the correct folder depending on brand and model and in the folder automatic_fullbackup

I just downloaded serjoga's softcam there to test it..

I unrar'd it..

Checked the attributes..

Ftp'd the registry file to the correct location..

Did a restart and it works grand..

No need for editing anything...

New version 2.04

Following is added:




     - SID computer
     - Before creating the "oscam.services"
     - "Oscam.services" copying to Box
     - After creating the "oscam.services"
     - "Oscam.services" open & copy to Box

You don't need an internet connection for keys to work...

No you choose Serjoga's or Minicats..

They are pretty similar...

There are a lot of different variations of softcam's but these are the only two i keep updated on the forum..

Ftp them to Var/keys..

Make sure in your cccam.cfg there is no # infront of this line:

SOFTKEY FILE : /var/keys/SoftCam.key

You can see Canal Digital, TNT, Austriasat and ORF open on 19 east

Also a simple one could be by the use of Teamviewer if your Dad has a pc you would be able to control it and update his reciever from his pc with you controlling it...

Its possible using Filezilla to FTP his box over the internet..

I have some friends who are away from home a lot and update there cccam.cfg hundreds of miles away via Filezilla..

So i'm sure you could update his xml or send the file's for the channel settings in the correct directory of the box..

What you need to do though is get him a dns (or maybe its possible using his fixed ip for his home) and set it to his ip address..

Once you know all his details, you will be able to access it then..
