Pretty simple answer in my opinion..
Your dish is not correctly aligned..
And when it rains, your getting "rain fade" on your signal..
Your dish is getting enough signal to be able to view the channels when its dry, you just need to tweak the dish a small bit to the left or right and maximize the signal...

For the 4.8 east nordic beams i've heard a 2meter in Dundalk will barely get them on a fine day...
As Master G says a 1.5m will pick them up further north..
So i unless your really lucky i can't see you getting it!
I've lost interest in that sat down south! lol

ik kan geen verbinding krijgen met mijn openbox s9 orginaal
als ik dcc 295 gebruik dan doet de tel. lijn wel groen de andere blijft rood
in het begin was het wel goed ik weet het niet meer.:oh:A rough translation for someone who might be able to help!:
"k can not connect to my openbox s9 Original
If I use dcc 295, the phone line the other is red or green
In the beginning it was okay, I do not remember" -
Yup as the lads said try an E2 channel list!..
As you only have a fixed dish at the min maybe you might be better off using these : Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
You'll need dreambox edit to update it: Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
Although 5% sounds like your dish is offline or the co-ax and f-connector are not connected proper! You won't clear the pay channels like Blightly, and ITV 2,3 and 4 HD require a *** uk card to clear as they are not fta like their sd counterparts!
I'd say flash your box with a good image first heather...
Spare yourself the work in the long run...
Use Internet Explorer as the browser to flash it with...
Nice video here how to do it: http://linuxsat-support.com/dm…ideo-how-flash-dm800.html

So basically non of the emu's up date the card?
-
Ok so thinking of making a back-up image for the dm500s for Tring cards..
But just a little bit confused about what emu's to include..
For monthly entitlement updates Master G has posted "Mgcamd + Oscam"

There is also a "How to: CCcam Oscam Tring!"And to mess things up rightly i seen a Tringsat Ready Image made by a highly regarded Satellite shop using " CCcam 2.1.4 +Newcs 1.67 "
Asked was it working ok for updating the image and was told it activates the card and updates it fine!
So talk about confusing!
Can anyone shed any light?

cazuela had a ready made one that restarts at 5am every day and puts in to s,by ,use it myself find it good. If you can't get send me a pm
Thata a crond job for a dm500s lad..
Not the same..
-
Yup get on msn so lad!
-
You get sorted??
I'm around for 10-15mins can sort it?
-
Funny that you mention this reciever as I was just told about this today by a peer..
Its hungarian made but pretty similar to the openbox as far as i know with close source linux...
So it cannot be used for sharing the internal card through cccam..
I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure...
