Thats due to right restrictions lad if its in the Europa league it is blacking out for.
From what i have read else where the original viasat box has to be jtag'ed to extract the SK keys from the Dump..
Don't ask me what that means!
I'm assuming its pretty similar to the N*va hd which i recieve..
Seems to becoming more easy or common knowledge to get going now I assume..
I found 2.1.4 was the best for my Dm800 hd clone..
Ten is right about the older models though!
Lots of home made fixes going around the web but they aren't worth the hassle over all!
You can add a usb dvb-t tuner and recieve it easy m8..
Selling one myself if you want it!
I wouldn't advise a usb serial convertor..
Get a desktop and use a Null Modem cable straight from that..
Make sure its a Null Modem cable as if its an RS232 cable it may look the same but won't do the same job!
There has already been one user if not more using the usb to serial and it hasn't worked, he sent the box to a very helpful Super VIP in Scotland and he had it sorted in no time..
So my point, use a desktop pc and a null modem cable straight to the box otherwise you'll go mad!
Have you tried changing the audio track mate?
Not sure what button it is on the Vu remote but its a possible solution..
Yes the network way is easy m8
Don't use dreamup though, use Internet Explorer and do it via that..
Takes about 4 - 5 mins..
Here is Yassinov's repair kit for sim 2.01..
http://linuxsat-support.com/en…er-no-ca-error-dm800.html
There is the guide..
Yassinov also created a piece of software to recover it and its ment to work very well... Will give a quick look about for it for you!
If the wind has moved the dish then your best leaving stored settings on the box alone as you don't want to put them off..
Best get a size 13 spanner and tweak the dish a bit til you get max signal as its that what has changed in the wind!
I would think that you have a lot of plugin's, addon's or skins installed on your internal memory therefore draining it!
You should uninstall a few plugins via the TS Panel and see does that give you any relief..
I think there is a plugin or addon called Swapfile that will transfer any data from the Internal Memory and move it to the HDD therefore giving you a free'd up internall memory.
Yup I made this mistake aswell..
Had to get a 3.5" caddy and a power supply to make it work via usb in the end!
Is it CanalSat Horizons on NSS 7 at 22.0°W??
I swear by Crossepg but am unsure whether or not that will be available from there.
Best way is install the TS Panel and download a few different EPGs and test which one is best!
Have you tried flashing it by Web browser method mate?
Great little video here if your stuck:
http://linuxsat-support.com/en…ideo-how-flash-dm800.html
Never heard of that mode m8.. What did you do to it?
Is he using Usals or by Diseqc 1.2?
Freezing is caused by the locals connected..
Tryu changing the "metric" of the locals conencted..
Put "metric:1" as the most stable share and so on.
You must make a line depending on the *** DE profile in your CSP
e.g.
<profile name="sly de" ca-id="1702" network-id="0085" provider-idents="00 00 00, 00 00 01, 00 00 02, 00 00 03"
enabled="true" debug="true">
<newcamd listen-port="55121"/>
<services-file format="cccam" ca-id="1722" filter="000000">etc/slyde.channelinfo</services-file>
</profile>
Then down further you will see something like this

The line that will give you your sly de is:
Your Nline will then look like:
N: your.dyndns.org 55121 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Obviuously the details will be different for you but that is how its done!
Best stick to your original thread mate or staff will get annoyed ;)

lol
Why would you be putting expiry dates on F/Clines mate?
