Good Evening,
I found a recent back up image of egami 10.5 r2 which i have loaded onto my box. Its a very big back up image and in my opinion its very bloated. Would anyone know if this is a non official release as i would like to official one if its available as i like to keep my boxes optimal and sleek. I don't think egami supports the qviart dual unfortunately.
Vix make it so difficult to get started pain in the a*** they are with missing configs.
In dcc if that's what you are using under telnet type passwd then put the same password you have put in your settings. You need to enter the same password twice.
I don't know your box but on the qviart dual i think you would boot into the android side, so possible you would boot into defineos and do the back up from there.
I have been playing around with multiboot on version 5.3.003 on my solo 4k. Once i get extra slots working from usb i am finding that those images cause the receiver not to wake from deep standby. Images on emmc work fine. Any one had this and found a work around?
Sorry i cannot be much more help, i do not have your box but i do have a qviart dual which has the same chipset. On the dual there a couple of ways to get into recovery. Switching off and back on whilst holding the power button on the front takes you into recovery mode. Or whilst booting keep pressing ok,ok ect to enter recovery mode or by pressing 11111, or 22222, or 33333 or 44444 take you into a different boot slot. I don't think any of these will help but maybe.
On the qivart there is also a loader tool called hitool. I am unsure if this is suitable for you box but maybe a google search might bring something up.
tried the google search way but no look all say the same ways BUT 11111 22222 33333 44444 way I will look into, but thanks for your help anyway seriously
I just had a read around have you tried putting the recovery software on a usb stick in root of usb stick but when you turn the box on keep your finger on the reset button until you see flash on the screen. Is this another option?

Display MoreHi, my husband is looking to upgrade our old dreambox (17years old) and I am doing research trying to find the best available. I found the DM900 but my husband is asking questions about it and my answer is 🥴🤯 so I have come to satellite forums for help and guidance because I am lost at the questions so lost for the answers!
Are the cards swappable in them, can you have up to 4 cards, a mix of satellite and cable?
Which box do you have ? Why not upgrade it to the lastest OpenPLi ?
Perhaps only the upgrade of the software would get your box at the highest level / functionnalities of today,
TS
There dreambox is 17 years old think they are looking for an upgrade.
It looks at the dreambox 900 only has one card slot and one cam slot so not sure how you would go about having 4 x cards in it.
There is also a dreambox 2 but that seems possibly android based but seems very powerfull.
On the front, the DM900 RC20 UHD shines with a 3 inch LCD color display. A common interface and a smart card slot are hidden behind a front panel. Like the other Dreamboxes, the DM900 RC20 UHD is based on the Enigma2 operating system developed by Dream Multimedia.
On the back, the box offers numerous connection options. HDMI in, HDMI out, USB 3.0, network interface, SPDIF and a slot for 2.5 "hard drives.

I have a Zgemma H9.2s box and when I tried to update it, but will now only go to to a white HISILICON screen, I have tried to use usb (3 different usb adaptors) formated on MBR plus fat32 put the firmware into the root of the usb, turned off the box at the rear placed in the usb and holding reset I then powered up but will not go any further
Please any help
did you use the recovery software and not just the latest image?
It takes 26 minutes to download on OP.PLI 9 VU+ZERO 4K, is there anything I can do about it? on the other images it's fine thanks
Why not stick the ipk onto a usb stick, put the usb stick it into the receivers usb slot and then go into the plugins menu and use the mediascanner plugin to browse the usb stick and install the ipk for there. Literally takes moments to do?
This is the Android side of the qviart dual, it does show Netflix and prime but I don't know if it's widevine certified so unsure what quality settings those programs would be in. I've never used any of them as I own a nvidia shield. A quick play this morning shows me something is not working correctly but I will need time over the next few days to resolve this.
You mean something like the qviart dual 4k. I've got one of those 🤣
I´m buying one right now
Before you do do you know anything about them? These boxes run 4 x e2 images but on the Android side they can access the forever server. If your are buying you need to ask you supplier if its new stock or old as the newer stock come with 2 years basic server access. Old stock don't come with it. I think it's called new fun box.
I dont hope its dying, Im pretty new to this scene and I love dreambox, vu plus and so On. I love enigma2 :)
I think enkgma2 plugin need to develop more and be more stable. Let us use youtube as on open atv, it feels exactly like an app. Why is this not possible do with other boxen. ?
yes, I love E2, but it´s getting behind if you compare it with Android, because that is where the universe is moving to apps like HBO, Disnet, Netflix, Amazon Prime and so on, I would love to have the benefit of both worlds in just one box, something like being able to play any IPTV format within my bouquet list like I do with Enigma2 and be able also to easily move from watching my channels feed from the sat to my soap opera in Disney with hesitation and in a blink of an eye.

Two options you can download a icam channel list, I use vhannable rotating icam list found it the levi45 addon or try going into the channel list highlight the channel you want to watch, press menu and go to extras and select play with steam relay. Wait a few seconds and see if it clears.
I have found its hit and miss dependent of each image. It will also depend on your server.

I'm using Zgemma H9S with pure2.
I installed oscam 11718.
I need to put this file in usr/bin, right? -
aarch64
Why not take the easy way and take the ipk that is in the first post, drop it onto a usb stick and stick it in the receivers usb slot. Then go into plugins and look for media scanner. Select the ipk on the stick and install it from there.
If it does not install then you might have to do it another way. Download an oscam from the softcam plugins menu and make sure it runs. Then go into usr/bin and see what the name is, copy the bin file that you mentioned earlier but rename it exactly the same name as the one in usr/bin and overwrite it. Make sure that are the same attributes. Restart the cam and hopefully that have it running. This is exactly what i did on the latest openspa image for my qviart dual. Don't forget to upzip it. I had to try a couple of the arm bins as the first one in the list gave stuttering. The last one in the list worked fine.
Contact wos, your receiver should still be in warranty so they in theory should fix this for you.
- Where can I find samur icam bin and where should I put this in enigma folders?
- Turd means log files? I didn't realize I couldn't share the log file. I've deleted it immediately.
Also, how can I find a good server? Unfortunately, I can't DM you either. I would really appreciate it if you could help.
The bin files are found in post number 1 in this thread and the bin files go in usr/bin.
Ok i dont have this receiver but i have the qviart dual which i believe a simlar receiver. Have you tried a restore image on a usb stick. Turn the receiver off and turn back on whilst holding the power button down. This might allow you to flash the recovery image. If whilst holding the power button do you get reco appear on the receiver screen?
