I don't want to take over your thread but I am struggling with the same problem.

Is there no step by step guide? what is required is a dummies guide to setting up streaming from the solo2 to the internet. I have been searching on the net for over a month now, It is not like looking for needle in a haystack rather that the needle has been broken up in to several small parts and have been scattered and hidden in several haystacks.

The people in the know seem to answer a question but in answering the question they assume that every one is at the same level of knowledge as they are, they forget that the forum is used by people just starting out. What is even more frustrating is when someone poses a question he get a cryptic-al answer than the original poster responds back “every thing sorted” but not stating what he did to sort the problem out.

I to would like to set-up streaming from my solo2. I have managed to get it to work internally within the house but am struggling to get it to work outside the house.

I have solo2 and I am using Black Hole 2.0.4 UK Ready VU+Solo2 Backup By Ten Below.

Space in the line indicates different part of the cline see it broken down below.

N indicates that this is NewcamD protocol
ip address to the server
port
user
password

Note you have to enter your line exactly as it is i.e. it is case sensitive.

I have had my solo2 for about 3 months now and have got it working with the help from this forum I am using Black Hole 2.0.4 UK Ready VU+Solo2 Backup By Ten Below.
I have managed to set up and use internal streaming to PC using webif, and got it to stream to my android phone.

What I would like to do is setup the streaming to the internet so that I can watch my footy when I am not at home. I know I have to open some ports on my hub but I am totally lost as to what to do. I have vermins Supper Hub and can get to the section Port Forwarding

I have created an DNS account on no-ip. But I don’t know how to set it up for what I want to use it for.

Are there any step by step instructions out there that I can follow?

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi I have just got my self a solo2 have installed VU+ Solo2 OpenVIX-3.0.683 UK Ready Backup By Ten Below. what i need is what do i do now to get the box to work with cline.
I am moving from BLADE 7000s to solo2 and this is my 1st attempt at getting the solo2 to work. can someone please point me in the right direction, I have read that I have to upload some files to the box before I can get it to work. Is there a idiots guide to setting up the solo2. any help would be appreciated. what would be helpful would be a list of files which need to be uploaded, which folder to load them to and instruction on what to do after the files have been uploaded .
