    Hi, only trying to get the truth. on the 24-07-2013, "Mckee25" posted this and I think it a sticky. "Tuner A is connected the motorised dish,and is being used in the in Advanced setting. ect ect.

    Sorry I have just re-read the post and it say A to Advance and B to Simple. My mistake did not carry on reading after A assuming b was loop-through. Just shows you what you get for assuming, sorry again and thanks for your help.

  • Setting up tuners on VUsolo2

    Trying to set up my tuners as I have problems fixing other sat positions :-
    I am currently connected to 28.2 on a motorised system. I currently have tuner A connected to advance and B loop-through to A.
    I am getting a very good signal on 28.2 and I am sure the sat set-up is OK. I am getting contradicting info regarding which tuner I should set as advanced or simple?


    Can someone give me the correct set-up for Diseqc or usals. Thanks.

    Hello, its me again. After trying to configure my tuner settings and checking the satellite was OK, I came to the conclusion the the tuners on my VUsols2 had given up the ghost.
    So I brought a new one from our sponsors. I flashed it with the latest VIX image and set up the tuners A advanced and B loop through to A. All connected OK then the same thing happened to my new one, which is when I put it in deep stand-by and switched it back on it said " check tuner configure".
    I went back to tuner A and it said not configured, so I tried to set advanced again but were it says LNB it said 65, I tried to change this to 1 but it would not let me, just said not configured. I put my Spiderbox on to double check my sat and it worked OK. ? The only good thing is it looks like my old box was OK after all.
    Can anyone suggest a solution I like the vix image and don't really want to re-flash another one.

    OK I have checked the IP address of the box which is showing in DCC the computer on the search is showing a different IP address and I press to accept but it remains the same. :06:
    I did a re-flash before this to try and resolve the problem but no good

    Hi, I cannot get dcc to connect with my box. I search for the IP address and accept it and when I try to connect it won't ?
    I have also tried VUCC with the same results.

  • Big trouble on tuner set up !!

    Hello, Hope someone can help. I don't want go into the reasons why (too complicated) I have done a factory reset. On trying to configure my tuners Vu solo2 I go to tuner A and put in simple then put in my correct latitude and longitude and the press save, and it comes back no configured. I have tried tuner B and the same thing happens. Did another factory reset and the same thing happens. I and now stuck with just the Openvix image. I have also tried a backup. The only thing I have not tried is a new image. ??

    Thanks Makee, Will give it a try but I don't hold any hope of fixing it. If I have to buy another receiver which one would you recommend

    Hello, Its a motorised dish currently on 28.2 east everything was ok until I put in the new catseye setting. I had Tuner A on simple mode and loop-through to B Then a message can up check tour tuner settings, which I did and pressed save, it then says tuner not configured ? I have tried every mode and it still comes up not configured.
