OK managed to re-flash using the rear ports, allways used the front of the box, but still have this error message coming up ? PS in Filezilla do you transfer the Enigma2-plugins-cccams into the tmp file ?

Unable To Re-Flash solo2

Yesterday I got a nasty message warning that went like this :-

X SoftcamCheck
Error:[Failure instance:Traceback:<type'exceptions.IOError'>:[erno21] is d directory:'/ect/CCcam.cfg'
/usr/lib/python2.7/threading.py:525:bootstrap....ect ect

So I tried to re-flash my image Openvix and it did not re-flash tried several images and USB sticks but no good. The unit still has the Openvix image and opens TV channels.

Hi can anyone help me please in Backup manager it say's "there is a problem with this device,please reformat" I have found by pressing menu it takes me to Backup Location, Backup Prefix ect, them if I press yellow it askes which files and from then on I am stumped (again)

OK I have downloaded Dream-explorer and all looks good, I think the Openvix image must reject every version of TSpanel I even tried the one you suggested pheonix, thanks all of you for your info :party:

Hello, I have tried downloading TSpanel and I keep getting "some plugins are not available ! (bad magic number/usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugin/Extensions/TSpanel/plugin.pyo
Does anyone know of a suitable version?

Just downloaded VU+solo2 openvix 3.0-567 to USB and tried to flash it to my receiver, but it is now stuck in "checking USB" mode. Is it OK to switch off the receiver without causing any damage ? It said it was flashing to start with but the went to "checking USB"

I have had my VU+sols2 for a couple of days now,up-grading from a Spiderbox, and I have 2 payserver lines with a few weeks to run and I wonder if there was a easy way to load them and get me up and running, whilst I read up on what I should be doing. :beat_brick:

Just typed out a list of all items in my solo2 folder click on post and it vanished anyway there seems to be one file missing boot_cfe_auto.jff2 and the others root, kernel,initrd are all auto.bin files is this right I don't seem able to extact them.

OK done that, it now say's starting, tried pressing power again and it still say's starting. Should I hold the power button until it say's install ??

Fallen at the first fence,I have loaded the archive file from my folder to the USB (cruzer 2GB) inserted it into the front slot powered on the box it said searching then I pressed stb button on my remote quickley and then ended up saying "Language sel. I swiched of and tried again 3 times with the smae result and now left it power on with the USB still inserted for about 20mins now.

Should I set-up the box first and then try again ?:baffle:

Hello, can someone please lead me through flashing my VU+solo2 which should be arriving around lunchtime.
I have set-up a floder and downloaded the suitable image to a USB, and using jzip extacted it to the folder. I them FAT32 my USB and reloaded the image.

Am I now OK to flash the image to my box ? Thank in advance for any help.
