From memory, HD went the same way. I.e it was not a big bang approach. I can confirm UK side is black channels but Irish are clearing OK

I am also having a strange issue but i know how to fix it, just can't remember the commands lol

i have manually deleted the plugin for v1.4 and ftp'd v1.5 , but i get an error trying to install it through the GUI.

/bin/sh syntax error unexpected "("

if somebody could suggest how to do this through telnet, then i think i will be able to install v1.5 and happy days!

thanks for the explanation on why the search feature doesn't work, but the search option is the only way i use exodus, as what i watch is not always in the menus. keep up the good work!

sorry if this is the wrong section. But i have just installed kodilite on my edison os mega openvix 4.2.030 and FTP'd exodus latest version 1.0.4, but when i launch it i get errors. below is the error's in the files.

I have just realised something wrong with this image. I had to just upgrade to CCcam 2.3.0 to be able to record non FTA on all 3 tuners. I am sorry but i am not uploading a new image as i have restored other settings. But in order to upgrade to the CCcam 2.3.0 version, i did this via the plugin downloads menu, very easy!

Ok, thought i would give you an update. I went with the Edison to have the 3 x dvbs2 so the wife can record all her crap lol. i have just received my edison mega and just installed latest linuxsat panel, but when trying to download various plugins, for example i am trying to download sly 1 skin. i get the following message.

I was wondering on purchasing a 4K receiver, but am i going to benefit from doing so? Is there any content out there that i can watch? i have a large motorised dish so i can get most europe satellites, is there any football in 4K in europe subscriptions? I know in UK we either have BT or Sly in 4K but do not really want to be forced down that route.

Another option would be the edision os mega and use your smartphone or tablet as a remote, loads of enigma remote apps out there, no need for ir extender.
It has 2 dvb-s2 tuners and a hybrid multi 3rd tuner (can be configured for dvb-s2 or dvb-c/t/t2, same tuner as os mini+ receiver)

Hi everyone.

i am after some advice as to which receiver would suit my needs for the bedroom.

3 x DVB-s2 tuners
space for internal hard drive
this is probably the biggest requirement, is an option to have an extended IR sensor as this box will be used in new bed with electric TV coming out of the end, so extending the IR sensor is key. I see the VU smaller boxes have an extended IR but only can see a twin tuner.

any suggestions?
