  • Autobouquets Help

    I'm not really bothered if my custom bouquet (nothing to do with autobouquets) disappears - is that what you were talking about that I have to maintain?. What I am bothered about is the autobouqets disappearing. I clicked start and I got all the autobouquets again along with my custom sort list. I just want to prevent the autobouquets from disappearing.


    What settings do I need to change? I didn't see an expert setting in autobouquets. What do you mean keep all bouquets to keep my own list - how do I do that?


    What do you mean have both lists with Sly Scotland in the front? Does it matter if I set the "Local Area Selection" to my area as I want BBC1 not BBC1 Scotland.


    I thought the whole point of autobouquets was that the channels are maintained automatically?

    OK everything was working and yesterday I programmed autobouquets to update every day at 6.20AM. At noon today I was trying to change channels and noticed that it wouldn't change channels. I then looked at the bouquets and noticed that all the autobouquets were gone! The only thing that was left was my own bouquet (nothing to do with autobouquets) that I created but all the channels were greyed out.


    I then pressed Start to downloaded the autobouquets again and the autobouquets came back again along with my custom sort list in the Enterainment bouquet however my own bouquet (nothing to do with autobouquets) was gone.


    That's very worrying! Has that happened to you and how can I prevent that from happening.

    No I haven't applied a swap. What is that exactly?


    Do you know what time of day a channel number usually changes?


    What actually happens if a channel number changes and I've set a recording for a channel? Will it just record a different channel due to the numbers changing?


    I usually look at my bouquet before noon every day and set timers for shows I want to record. Is there any way to be informed of when the channel numbers change so I don't end up recording the wrong channel?


    Just to clarify will I need to setup the Scheduled Update Scan or does autobouquets update the bouquets automatically anyway?

  • How can you Disable the VFD Display?

    In LCD4Linux under "LCD4Linux enabled" I set the value to no. I no longer see programme info in the VFD however there is still a "VU+Duo2" text displayed with a rainbow coloured background! Is there any way to turn that off so the VFC is just black. Not bothered what colour it is as long as it doesn't light my room up like a Christmas tree!


    What's the purpose of the VFD as it just seems to display identical info from the LCD display?

    Thanks very much, it's all working now. My fav channels now appear at the top of the Entertainment Autobouquet. So if the channel numbers or frequencies change, will my fav channels in the Entertainment Autobouquet be updated automatically. Or do I need to setup the underlined item below?


    In the Autobouquet Menu I noticed the following settings. What do they do?


    • Other Extra Channels: Yes.
    • Scheduled Update Scan

    What do you mean run Autobouquets? I opened Autobouquets and pressed Green to Start. Is that what you mean?


    I did that and my channels are still not showing in the Entertainment autobouquet. When I open the Autobouquets plugin Is there a specific setting I need to have there to get it to work?

  • Lost Sly Premium Channels Temporarily

    FTP into your box (var/tuxbox/config) and download the oscam "config" folder , then wjen you have done that backup the CCcam.cfg file (root/etc). When you have these two file downloaded onto your pc or lappy keep them save for future use. You can then easily FTP them back on when you download a new cam etc....


    I backed up the following files:

    var/tuxbox/Config/oscam.conf
etc/CCcam.cfg



    I installed "enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-v9480_cccam213_bh_all.ipk". I restarted the box and copied the above files back to the same locations, I turned on the cam, restarted the box and it's not working. No picture.
