Save your channel lists by dump to USB , then load a channel list with 30w on it and see if it's working. If it's still not working you will know it's your dish . At least you can narrow down where your problem is then. You can then load up your saved channel list again

i think my internet is slowed down by my service provider at tea time would that affect my picture ?
If you are downloading with torrents, this could cause problems -
First, go to Menu -> System Setup -> Parental Lock. Key in the default password of ‘0000’. Over here, you can toggle to Menu and Channel Lock to On/Off, or even enter a new password as desired.
Then, go to Menu -> Edit Channel -> TV Channel List.
Press on Red button (Lock) to toggle Lock function and then browse to specific channel that you intend to lock.
Next, a password field will prompt up. Enter the pre-configured password (in step i.) and a ‘Lock’ sign will appear beside the channel. A new confirmation of ‘Are you sure to save?’ will appear and press ‘Yes’ will make the change effective.
Repeat step iii. to lock other channels that you think the content may not suitable for your family members.
Whenever you browse and try to access to those parental password protected channels, a password field will prompt out and unless a right password is being keyed in, else there is no way to access the channel without authorization. -

Hi,
I was given an openbox s9 by a friend.
I did not know if it is orignal or not so used the link below to flash . The image on the box was password protected so could not view cccam info..http://linuxsat-support.com/op…ones-05-01-2012-beta.html
Ive also managed to update new channel list ,add new cline from reading the info on this forum.. Thanks
on my dm500 i have cccan pannel which i can use to see which c line is clearing that particular channel. for example if i had 2 c lines i could tell which was clearing therfore which was quicker...
Is there a way to install this or something similar on the s9

Tried that still the same thing my router isn't registering that's the box is plugged in I read somewhere that the fake boxes have issues with the network card so I don't know
Have a good read through the tutorials , everything you need is in there. These boxes in fairness give little trouble , it's probably something simple. -
-Valid filetypes for audio and video mode are mp3, mp4, h264, mkv, and most variations of MPEG2 and MPEG4.
-
Use a USB flash drive to load your test lines, all the info you need is in the tutorials section. Couldn't be easier with an openbox.Make sure you have one of the latest firmwares on you're box also.

I swiped this from another forum :
its something to do with the osd, when the osd disapears, it knocks the audio out of whack, try changing your osd setting down to 1 second, this works on most channels, the ones it doesn't work on, try pressing exit as soon as you change channel, the idea is, to get rid of the osd before the channel kicks in..hope this helps. -
Was there anything in it's place before? Was that working? Is it a single or multi lnb set up, or motorized?
