Press fav and then the ok button on your remote when you are on the channel you want to move in the tv channel list menu. This allows you to move between favourites.

I don't see any way for loading to an openbox s9. It seems to be in it's early stages, maybe wait for a future version

Khan when you say you can't scan these channels, how do you mean? Is there no signal on the transponders ofvthe channels you deleted?

I had this problem, I only fixed it by using a desktop pc with a proper serial port. I was trying for ages on my laptop with a USB to rs232 lead and never got working.

As has been mentioned already go menu/tools/information and look at the line beside version. This tells you what firmware you are on. If you look at it, it's actually a date and time.

Some channels cause your box to reboot, you can delete these channels by plugging out the sat cable and go to tv channel list and delete the problem channel. An easier way would be to load a channel list which someone has done previously and these problem channels would be removed.you will find them in the files section.

Western digital seems to be ok as long as it's below 1tb. It is a bit hit and miss though so don't take it as gospel lol. Do a quick google and you will find a few examples

Glitching would be the server's fault I would think. I'm using firmware from march and my box is working perfect, latest firmware won't make any difference I'd say.
N lines load same as c lines through USB . Mgcamd is done through menu of box.
Is you're USB powered? The openbox's USB dosent send enough power by itself to power a hard drive -
Iv also managed to revive my box thanks to instructions from Alibaba. It should make life a bit easier for answering questions cause my memory aint the best. Too much "living" on my part.

Managed to sort out a few problems ie certain channels were stuck and kept rebooting the box, this issue was resolved be simply deleting the channels usually *** sports and some others.
Puchased a western digital 320gb hard drive, the openbox will not pick this up?
Drive is fine and was checked with my pc.
Epg on openbox currently shows what is coming on for the next few hours ie 2-4.
Can anyone help with this as surely you must get at least a days worth of epg on these boxes?

Khan more bad news for you , the epg is now and next only. :( It is one of the major drawbacks of this box.
You may need to format your external hard drive to the box for it to work.
You can do this through the menu.
Also if it is not a powered hard drive it may not work because the usb dosent give enough power . This mightnt be the case but ive read of a lot of people with this problem. -

edit from further investigation it seems to have been included with the Asian firmware but not the european firmware. Maybe it will be included with the next European release. -

Hi all, iv been away a while cause i started a new job and its evening shift so iv not had much of a chance to check in here. My openbox is still on the blink but ill do my best to help out where i can. My work hours are 2 till 10 so ill not be around those hours but ill try and check in as much as i can. Regards . Hooley
