hi, i have been sharing my cards with a few family and friends for the last few months ok. i have now changed my isp who cannot provide me with a fixed ip address: so i assume i will now have to use a dydns/noip type server. looking around i see many options, some free, some pay a little and some pay alot.
can anyone recommend what is most suitable for sharing (up to max about 10 friends/family)

you could power your usb bridge from an seperate power source. ( i assume you are using the usb port on the openbox is used to power the wifi bridge)

yes but this a real puzzle then.
with my sly sub card in the genuine sly box F1 works ok. as do all other HD channels i sub to. (no sports or moves)
put the card in the openbox (have tried a S9 & S12) F1 does not open although all other subed. HD channels do. ie. ***1 HD arts HD etc. as well as pick tv

Hi, yes i have done this ok, but still does not open. all other HD channels are ok. Am i correct that the F1 channels should open with any HD sub. (not necessary to have Sports) ???

i always just edit the cccam file using winscp, close the file, it asks for password and straight away the edited file is active

yes all of the entertainment plus pack and if i put the card in a genuine box then F1 works also.
i also have a dm 800 in my network at home and that works ok on F1 also.

yes i have. the channels are clearly shown in the channel list both HD & SD with the F1 name

has anyone got the F1 channels working ok on openbox?
my S12 will not open F1 channels. other HD channels working ok. (either with the card in the slot or using server)
the card opens F1 channels in sly decoder

is it correct that this should open using a entertainment package with HD. (not sports necessary)

yes, i suppose it depends which software you use, but i have used the same software on 9, 10 and 12 without problems

thanks m8. 6666 is correct and also asks for a password to open cccam.conf menu. this is 0000 which may be of help to someone

Hi, just flashed my ***box S12 with this new soft. however part of the menu (with network/cccam info) is missing.
I assume i must enter some code to activate this, can anyone tell me?

i have used a multiroom card in Spain for many years and know many other people who have also. so i would say the chances of sly interrogating your card/box over the phone line is very slim.
not saying they wont, but slim

ok thanks for reply, i will do so, but in answer to my question: can i use the software i use on my S9 without damaging the S12.
I like the present software i use on the S9 as it shows the full names of the channels in the channel list, many of the later softwares i have tried cut off part of the channel names
