yes nothing has changed. jsc still use the same card and can update an expired card to either full or part packages.
i have tried both viacess and irdet* cards in my solo and both work ok. i am using cccam 2.3.0. no oscam. -
just add this to you cccam file:
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 6000000
CAMKEY : /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA : /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/sci0JSC irted* card will then activate and update in cccam.
viaccess card works without. i use jsc card in solo 2 with cccam and i ok.

is it possible to force an update from the mediaportal menu?
i have 2 receivers with media portal installed.
1st box odin m7 as soon as i select media portal a message says update available and it updates ok to version 4.5
2nd box solo2 when i select mediaportal does not update and remains version 4.4 -
also installed it on a dm800se last night with the atv image and worked perfectly.

this is the message as appears in the telnet screen.
it is the same whether I try to install with telnet or direct from plugin download.
does not only happen with tspanel. others as well. but if I do clean install then the first couple of plug ins will install ok.
ie. if I installed tspanel first it would be ok.root@dm800se:~# opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-ts
anel_6.8_mips32el.ipk
Installing enigma2-plugin-extensions-tspanel (6.8) to root...

when attempting to install some plugins I get this message.
/var/lib/opkg/info/libxslt.list on space left on device.any ideas what this means.

I have dm800se with openpli 3.0. ondemand working ok but sound if very "choppy" particulary with music. anyone else have this problem?
-
I have just changed the image on my dm800se to openpli 3.0 (specifically so I could use the on-demand plug in)
on-demand working great but cannot get my hdd to initialize.
when I try to record or set up cross epg, it says no hdd or not initialized.however when I try to mount/initialize from the tspanel it appears ok.
the hdd was working fine with my old image yesterday
any advice please
