hey guys,last nite i was setting up an s9 at home for a mate,connected it up put in c line etc.but the darn thing wudn connect to server while my own vu duo was on,so obviously i turned off my vu and sure enough after a few mins s9 connected and started to work,i done wat ever id to do wit it,so den while s9 was running smoothly i tried turning on vu,after 10 mins it came on but only went as far bootlogo,the strange thing was or is it showing wat looks like the default skin,wen i press any of the buttons it shows wat its supposed to within the default skin,with the bootlogo still in back round,i have noticed that since i put in hdd the other day vu has been acting strange,ie.running slowly and menus freezing for a few seconds,looks like im gona have to reflash anyway,but wat im wonderingf is how do i get the 2 to run together,and does anybody think that the 2 boxes have somehow conflicted with each other,both are from different servers,,,,anybody any ideas

iv da same problem wit iphone 3g,was stcuk in recovery mode,tried restorn it on itune but it will not restore if it has been jailbreaked,just get error 1611,so umbrella or nothing will work.the fixes u get online for error 1611 are for nonjailbreaked devices,not really sure if der is neting dat can b done without bringn it back to apple,let us know if u do come across a fix

im guessing its an s9 ur on about,id this problem wen i first got mine and the advice i recieved from this forum was dat some channels cause the box to reboot,i was advised to take out the sat cable from the back and den reboot den delete that channel dats causin the problem,chances are its a duplicate neway,hope this works for u m8

just installed hdd from s*y hd box.for experimental purposes i opend a + box and a ha box,the actual hdd looks the very same ,same size n all just the leads wer different,ders a think its a 39 pin flat cable in the + box but in the hd its the same as wat was in the duo,,,after installation i initalized it ,seems to be workn fine,tried time shift,instant record and timer and dey all worked,BUT,everytime i change channel i get a message
1.the filesystem on you timeshift device does not support hardlinks,make sure its formated inEXT2 or EXT3

anyone know wat dats about and how does 1 go about it,

hey all,just curious to know is it possible to use da hdd from an old,well not dat old but unused s*y hd box in another reciever ,

openbox s9 ,if ya just wana watch tv dis is da 1 ,piss easy to use

using a brand new cruizer slice 8gb.formatted properly files loaded correctly ,and using front port,nothing else plugged in,it was the same a few months back with old usb,i dunno works fine now ,cheers lads

finally got it,turns out vu duo is a lil tempermental wen it comes to flashing,must have tried 50 times last nite b4 i decided to leave it,tried again dis morning with success,now have to redo everything id set,must make a backup dis time cudn be doin redoin everything again everytime sumtn goes wrong,,,ADVICE TO EVERYONE,BACKUP UR SETTINGS,thanks for the response master g,

hey guys im in a spot of bother ,again,earlier i was deleting stuff from hdd wen green screen appeared,box attempts to reboot ,gets as far as vix image screen den dies,tried pluggin out and reboot,no gud,so den tried flashing wit a vix.2.2 backup which iv used before ,wen it loads up ders nothng onit,nothing,straight to wizard mode ,tried reflashing a few times to no avail.so den downloaded another image from here and the same story,any ideas

hey all just a quick question ,wer do i insert my boxkey,at da mo.iv inserted it in ccam.cfg,obviously beside wer it says boxkey,den removed the# infront but in ccam info on box and in entitlements it says no card recognised,i deleted the part dat says /dev/scil after boxkey if dats any help although i did try it first before i deleted .any help much appreciated,oh ya and wen i do get the boxkey goin will my clients automatically recieve the card ,thanks again

hey all.just wondering does ne body know how to restore a picon and epg data to channels dat have recently changed frequency,iv tried reloading both via plugin but to no avail.

does anybody know is der still a use for starview 6 box,had it few years ago til da server was busted so just wondering is der any new firmware dat may have capabilities for modern day technology,ie.ccam ,or is it now just a fta box

hey guys ,can any1 tell me how to move channles from bouquet to bouquet,for instance im tryin to move mutv from the satelitte list into sports,wen i go into tv channel list and press yellow to move but wen i press left or right to different bouquets it exits move mode.it only lets me move it up or down the same bouquet,,thanks
