You can use all software (firmwares, channel list, etc..) from S9/10/11.

s9 and s10 are the same, never tried a s11 but i would assume that is also ok

How do you guys upgrade via null modem cable or via usb?
everytime i have done a usb upgrade its bricked !
and my latest laptop does not have a serial port for recovery if this happends againcheers smythe

Hello everyone!
I have been working on this problem for the past week and my head is about to explode with it, so I thought I would share it in the forum to see if anyone has had the problem and resolved it.
I actually think that it may be a known problem with either a simple fix or a no you cant do that answer.
Anyway go get a drink then sit down and get comfortable while I go through the scenario... :)I have an Openbox S11 with subscription to a service provider and channels are constantly freezing. Currently using CCcam.cfg
Signal Quality: 90% - Signal intensity: 80%
DSL 20 mb working perfect - DHCP on - no ports open
FTA channels working fine
Astra 19.2Any advise or suggestions before I throw the box outside the window??

Some of your issues sound like some i had myself.
If the fix don`t help your box, Try this.Try putting a small diode on the center pin of the coax, This stops the box from locking up and looping.
Not sure what size you need, not a big one as you only send 18v and under 1amp to the motor/LNB.

i patch an old openbox firmware and it appears that it works but dont load to the box.
You must select Old firmware. -
The EPG on my Openbox S9 does not provide enough advance information for me to record programes. Can anyone point me to a firmware upgrade that fixes this prblem?
Neither of them fixes this problem, but you can update your firm to a newer firm.

And I Try Many Firmware But Not Success
But That File Fix My Prob With This Loader.
Now My Box Working Great No Prob With This Firmware.This firm (AnonymouSX) always works fine.

got it working by scaning the transponder then just moving channel to where it apost to be thanks
Sometimes its better to rescan the transponder, so it works fine.

Maybe its easier for you to put the complete transponder in the box and erase the duplicate channels and then save the new list.

hi all yes i have had this box for a few months i put the hacked sx firmware on it my problem is my sub has change to a 3 digit port number and i have tried to change it with the remote by putting 00565 or 56500 but no joy i thought if i use a config file i could load it on a usb and it might work it is an nline ta

Cheers alibaba for your reply I know that in a lot of cases this info is not available but in this instance there has been a changelog on that other forum running back to Oct 2011 so some info was available. In the instances where people have flashed the latest image and struggled with the config file, maybe this would have helped them. Anyway thats my fourpenneth:linuxsat4:

No "official" changelogs for 2012.
But we can make our own changelog. -
i am trying to load an nline via usb using a config file i can get not get to load to the box any help welcome
Check the pendrive (format like fat32), also check the correct name for your config file.

"There won't be another release for the S9/S10 in the foreseable future because there won't be any more original files released for anonymousx to "hack", not with the new Openbox F3 receiver. And for your S9 use one of the december original files, it is the best you can get. "
