Hi mate,
Looking at your pics, looks like your sly dish is flush with your house wall.
Not much room to manouver a motorised dish by the looks of it.
May I suggest if you go down that route, that you mount it on a scaffold pole above the appex of the roof to get the full travel of the dish which will pick up 30E to 5W without much issue.
If thats not applicable, then a pole out your garden my get you some sats.Suttsy...

Hey mate, I would be guessing here, but I'd imagine an 80cm solid dish with an inverto black lnb would probably be suffice for your needs.
However I am open to correction.

I'm seeking a bit of advice as to what type of setup I can have.1st off, my current situation:
I have a motorized dish connected to a Vu Solo in one room.
I have a Solo2 connected to a Sly dish on 28.2 twin cable in another room & another solo single cable in the bedroom .What I'm hoping to do:
Put a quad Lnb on the motor, which I know can only be commanded by one STB, ie solo2
Run one cable to the Solo2 from motor & 1 cable from sly sat.
Run 2 more cables from the motor to the 2 other solo stb's but I still want them to connect to the Sly sat also,.Any help with advice on this would be much appreciated, i.e do I need multi switches for the single tuner stb's.

Hi McKee, I'm not at home for the time being. I'll keep it simple. My 5ly issued box is on the blink! I want to use my sub card in the solo without the any net connection. There was no net connection with the 5ly box. Is tis possible, can't see why not!!! But I'm not expert..... The forum members are the brainiacs.....lol

Sorry folks if I posted in the wrong thread.
Can someone please guide me in the right direction.
My issue is, I have a VU solo flashed with BH 2.06 & CCcam 2.3.1.
I have a $ly sub & I want to use this card on this receiver.
No internet connection as its the kids room.
Problem as title says, no $ly channels opening.

Just a shot in the dark here mate, unless you've already tried.
Sometimes its the simple things you wouldn't do..
Try unmounting the HDD 1st, then reboot & see if it returns to normal.
Then remount and check, if the problem repeats, then the HDD my need re-formatting.

Open Autobouquets and press Menu > Set Scheduled Update Scan to YES and configure it..
Open CrossEPG and choose Configure > Set a Scheduled Download here..
As long as the channel list and EPG is up to date there isn`t much else that needs configured..
Was there another plugin you wanted kept updated ?

How would i flash original vu Duo Image factory reset ?Look in the feeds under the Vu section.
All types of images there for you to try.
Download to a USB, then turn off the box, & insert the USB in the front USB slot, then turn on box.
It will flash that image from there, when done turn box off & remove USB.
Then reboot the box & take it from there......plenty of tuts here to help, just search....Suttsy
