Ok I now see the problem hadn't realised the info bar shows the tuner in use, the problem lies in that its selective to either tuner B or tuner C, I setup as u suggested, made tuner C equal to B, if the receiver uses tuner B, then the dish is moved as this is set to usals, however if it decides to use C then the dish remains at last position hence the reason why the dish does not move! and explains why I could move via satfinder as I know what tuner to select!

However am still unsure how to setup to prevent the tuner selecting C unless I want it to use C if its on same satellite and want to record something and watch something else! Hope that makes sense lol

Hi musogeek thanks for reply, I have quad lnb on motorised dish, I have twinshot cable run from this one direct to lnb other via motor to lnb to power motor, these are fed to receiver tuner A and B, I then have one feed from fixed 28.2 dish going to tuner C

Hey all, just took delivery of this receiver today am well pleased, problem am having is setting up tuners to work with motor correctly, thought was my previous receiver but same on this although slightly different setup as have third tuner installed.

Tuners configured as:
Tuner A simple, positioner USALS obv entered longtitude and latitude for location.
Tuner B equal to A
Tuner C single fixed to 28.2

dont know what am doing wrong when setting this up a running hdfreaks image, I set up dish motorised with good signal from 30 west to 42 east, haven't bothered looking further than this, have installed vhannibal satellite settings so made pretty easy, problem am having is temperamental works then will select a satellite but sometimes doesn't move to where it should! I go in setup, service searching and sat find will more often than not find satellite, if leave on satellite Chanel wanted and restart will find it, just so frustrating am sure will probs be setting haven't setup or something but lost here?

Is there a config file or setting am missing here guys?

Got vu duo with 1tb hdd, yes it's a clone regret buying it for that reason soon to replace with another was gonna be gigablue quad but got let down so still thinking will replace with same but not 100%

Quick update, decided. To put motor back up so now have fully working motorised setup again, would you still recommend vix for motorised setup?

Thanks for all replies and suggestions, bit bullet and got new motor £35 and quad lnb £15, fitted today and went better than expected, all working from 30 west to 42 east, don't think need much else carnt believe all channels got back lot of memories too lol
Regretting not having put motor back up earlier now! Just waiting for new gigablue quad to arrive and might be one happy bunny!

As annoying as it is deep standby still leaves USB on think am talking about deep standby anyway selected from menu select standby?, might see if can fit bigger or additional fan in box?

Hey all, having bit of change around got gigablue quad on way as main receiver 'vu duo clone' is going and in middle of setting up motorised dish again, been few years lol.

Anyway in short just setup dm800hd clone i got probs couple years ago as system for caravan when had it, problem I have or as I always seen it gets quite hot and sly card got ridiculously hot so I got a cheap twin USB fan that sits under box keeps nice and cool, sorry for waffling on lol but problem is when I switch box onto standby the USB socket remains powered and the fan with lights!! remains on, is there a setting in gemini to switch USB off on standby is all wanted to know lol

Hi mate thanks for reply, not sure how good bracket is think been bit twisted when tightened that many times is just dish doesn't look as square as thought should when pointing south? Will play round with bracket if carnt get right lol

Hi again guys, just wondering got dish up today but it had single lnb on it had spare quad lnb but is *** wide lnb, will this work on normal satellite dish or mess it up?

Hi again all, being bank holiday decided to put my motorised dish back up, haven't used in years since hous move!
Long story short, got cables run bracket up etc, but problem I have is the bracket that attaches the motor to the pole was well rusty and bolts just sheared off, my dish motor pole etc are fine just need bracket and struggling to find supplier of this bracket, anyone any idea of where can purchase this?may just be am searching for wrong thing with wording? It's of a sg-2100a motor
