Hi Again guys, I wondered if you could help me again :) I got Smargo USB card Reader 'good price on ebay' - since found out by another section on here it is a fake looked inside and it has MUP on reader! hoping still works, but I wondered how i setup up oscam and cccam to read this instead of internal reader, at moment think i have oscam set as reader being lower card and protocol internal, please can you advise on how i setup to use smargo clone! if it works that is, what do I need to change in oscam and cccam to get it to read?

cheers need to get smargo, guessing USB digitech sim card reader few years old won't work or will it?

thanks guys, finally got working :67: changed and changed files no luck typically for me using DCC to edit files via ftp, when I was closing config message was in German and thought I was saying yes save file :-) until I noticed the save logo!!

notice s*y card getting rather warm is it recommended to use in internal reader on DM800HD clone? everything now working, until decide to setup share in house lol

strange thing most premium channels working but one or two aren't is this a rescan job?

thanks again guys, know am probs being a bit thick but am trying to read from card reader on front of dm800 clone what possition would this be 1 'is this advisable it does get rather warm', in cam settings do I remove everything in there and replace with similar to above or just change one part?

Thanks Ten, just got in from work will hopefully get to try tomorrow, thought it was just boxkey? Your right though had entered in oscam same way as cccam, I do need it in both aswell dont I?

hi again all, sorry but got this all set up, been following guides on how to configure OSCam config files .conf .ser and .user, changed to what I thought was correct but still carnt get sly premium channels to decode, thought I just needed to add boxkey! what am I missing here guys?

Hi scoot, managed to flash new image onto box :20_003: thanks for help, you any good with cccam config lol, entered boxkey but premium channels wont work? might be a while before get back to that stage mind :-)

lol am bit thick sometimes, hopefully not just me? can communicate with box now seamed to flash, but still stuck - away tommorow but will have good go tuesday hopefully resolve, thanks! didn't realise the way i had connected to it would matter, live and learn lol

got it set to link via laptop and internet through this until I get delivery of vonets wireless bridge.
I hadn't been connecting direct to router, not thinking about or understanding the way it would get it's IP addy, guess this is all I need to do!

sounds like this has happened to me only thing i changed really, problem i've got is communicating with box to reflash! :-(
if i can change setting to dhcp via ftp hopefully could resolve by allowing me to flash box again!?

thanks, I haven't no - but can i set this via ftp? is the only way i can communicate with box at moment, this is what the box says when i start with power button pressed: dhcp... or similar, so sounds correct

Thanks for reply, can not flash via browser, front panel on dm800 only shows dhcp... no ip address, i can ftp to it?
didn't have serial port so waiting for usb to serial adapter, however took it to work pc and connected via serial with no luck, i didn't however have lan connected at same time, maybe this will make a difference? by me doing a factory restore, wouldn't have taken it to original image though would it? still had gemini with cccam etc. still installed after restore, i then downloaded a skin HD and installed this asked for GUI? or something reboot, i done this and this is when it jammed? trying to understand what if anything i've done wrong!?

Hi All new to furum and first post, just got DM800 clone and got major problem, was setting up bouquets etc. trying to edit boxkey for premium channels 'not succeeded as yet :-)', my problem is changed skin when i rebooted its stuck on booting gets almost to end then reboots constantly, i couldn't get tuner to scan 28.2E so had done a factory restore and started from scratch, i can talk to box via ftp, but dream up wont connect to flash image again thought maybe something was corrupt?
any ideas anyone?
