Until I updated to BH2.1.3 I used a plugin/addon - but have forgotten what it was. It provided a "folder" style view of my "recordings" with series all in their own folder. Additionally, I created a real folder on the HDD under /movies where I stored downloaded movies. All very logical and worked well. Problem is I cannot remember what the addon was. Does this seem familiar to anyone - and if so could you please let me know what is is so I can install it again. Many thanks.

Thanks for intervention catseye. I never suspect my satellites.xml since I have never changed them and use backups (in particular Tenbellows) so I assume the satellites.xml gets loaded with the backup image and this problem has persisted through at least two backup images. In thread 71601 #13 it seems to suggest that Autobouquets does not use satellites.xml anyway. My problem persists that using your channel list alone then running autobouquets misses some channels and gets the numbering screwed up, but after loading your settings then letting autobouquets also do a service scan everything is fine. However, about a year ago I could run autobouquets directly after loading your settings (without a service scan) and everything was fine.

Is there any way of getting the Solo2 (BH image) to display its mac address - from the router I can only get the mac address of the bridge it is connected to.

Firstly, thank you so much for your listings - they're the very best and much appreciated. However, I have one problem when I download them then run Autobouquets E2 to put 28.2E in numbers as per S**UK. Everything is fine but once I get to the Sports section channels go missing which puts the numbering sequence out. See 8c2c5e520ec.png

If I run Autobouquets with the option for a service scan (takes upwards of 20mins) then all channles are back and numbering is absolutely correct. The autobouquets help have investigated and eliminated this as their problem. Is this a problem that others are having, and is there a solution?

ratboy - thanks for the input, unfortunately tried that, didn't alter the sequence, just removed the channel numbers from the front display.

abu baniaz thaks for your engagement on this. Thank you for solution to problem 1. What you observed ("not sure where your 402/403 have gone") is exactly the problem. They, and a couple of others later on are missing and subsequent channel numbers are therefore wrong (eg press 402 and get Sports 4, etc). The process I would like to have is: download catseyes latest, run autobouquets - 2 minute job - everything up to date. Unfortunately, I can only resolve problem 2 by doing a service scan in autobouquets - which takes ~20 mins. So my only (successful) process is: download catseyes latest, run autobouqets with service scan and hope nobody wants the TV for the next 25 mins. Why the internal NIT scan fails with the results you can see is a mystery to me. Any ideas?

Changing settings as per #12 (thanks abu baniaz) has improved the situation (but still not right)

Problem 2 - channels missing and number sequence lost in Sports baba0a10c2c3c19c155.png

Problem 1 is new to me - makes sense but differing from S**UK causes a problem - so would like it fixed. Problem 2 I have had before and could only fix by doing a service scan, however I assumed that this version fixed that problem.

    Sports bouquet 914022cd68c90c487.png

Really, really loosing it now - and suspecting something corrupt in my system (not my image)! Did a factory restore, loaded Ten Belows image backup of BH 2.1.2, installed latest version Autobouquets E2 (August 2014) from Linuxsat-support plugin, used the following settings (all default except region):

    4b1518cb53.png

End result:- sequence correct but not starting at "101" - if I want channel "101" as per S**UK then need to press 1.

What has gone wrong with my box? . . . and more importantly, how do i fix it??

Have reverted to old backup (family needing TV today) - will get back to this either late this evening or tomorrow. Yes version 24th Sept is correct and as I suspected the settings file was somewhere else. However, I do not understand your point 5. Please explain.

Unfortunately my backup is the previous firmware version (still working on this one) so I will need to reflash the firmware and start again. A job for tomorrow me thinks, but thanks for all your help.

Just tried the file - wouldn't run, gave "permission denied" straight away. However, it did allow Autobouquets to appear in the Uninstall panel - so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it via the Linuxsat support addon. Same results. However, a clue may be that my configuration settings were remembered (Region, etc) so maybe not a complete uninstall at all!! Any way it appears that I have a corrupt installation and need a way to do a complete uninstall before I can install and try again?? Any ideas

Doing my head in now. Changed setting as per Kevin1.

Then pressed "101" on my remote (followed by Ch+) and this is what I get:

Since doing the firmware upgrade I deleted Autobouquets (not in the "Uninstall list" so I deleted the folder in usr/lib . . . /extensions) and reinstalled - but this is what I am getting.

I have used this for quite a bit - no problems. Have installed the latest version and updated my firmware - BH 2.1.2 on Vu+Solo2. My problem is now getting AB to work as ity used to - eg press 101 and get S**UK channel 101 etc. Have fiddled with the settings, but no joy. I do not appear to have a "default" sort but rather HD first, Sort1, sort2, sort3, and largest . . . none of which give me the desired sequence.

How do I get back to the default S**UK numbering?

Having found out that online update doesn't work, I have taken a Personal Backup, flashed with BH 2.1.2, and then restored my backup. Two immediate problems, firstly my icons have been lost, and secondly my shares have also been lost. I am sure that I can reload some icons - but thought they should be part of my backup, but my lines are somewhat more of a problem. My network works OK (tested with Youtube) but and selection in CCCam Info returns "Error reading webpage". Any idea what has gone wrong, and how I fix it?

SORTED - downloaded picons and started cam (feel a fool - under blue button it showed the correct cam, hence assuming it had started. Will know next time!)

Is it possible to use the online firmware update facility in Blackhole? I have just tried to update to 2.1.2 online - after a period of downloading/removing/configuring etc. it completed but on restarting just froze with the Black Hole logo on screen and "Starting" on the Vu+ display. After some 15 mins I was reduced to reflashing my previous image. Either I am doing something wrong or online upgrade doesn't work. If anyone has successfully achieved an online update to 2.1.2 I would be very thankful for the exact route you used.

My son inadvertently hit the front button (trying to power off) and managed to "upgrade" since the system found a previous backup on my back USB stick. I have got everything back (plugins, settings etc.) but find that my BH system is 2.1.0.1. Using the online firmware upgrade (trying to get back to 2.1.1) it finds nothing to upgrade but still reports the system as 2.1.0.1. Not going to do a backup, fresh install then backup restore (since no real problems for me with 2.1.0.1) but if an online update were possible I would take it. Is there a "flag" in my system than needs resetting?
