I have installed the mediaplayer2 with its dependencies and directed XBMC to use it. It is definitely using it (on "pause" I see different info bar - looks odd in the HD skin) but still aspect ratio wrong as before. Pressing the "5" key while file playing results in a prohibited symbol at the top of the screen. Exactly how do I change the aspect ratio?

The XBMC integrated in BH2.1.5 (same as 2.1.6 I believe) is stretching the movies to fill the screen -top and bottom. This leaves all actors tall and thin (except when lying down!). I have been through the settings/video/playback in XBMC but cannot find a setting to fix it. Has anyone who is using XBMC found out how to fix this?

Have implemented this, and restarted. I seem to now have a full screen Info page, but less than full screen TV Guide pages - is this correct?

This appears to no longer work on BH 2.1.5 with CCcam 2.1.3!! I know that 2.3.0 displays correctly but 2.1.3 back to showing -nan-

Using BH 2.1.5 - in TSMedia it was simple - a "Blue" gave you "Download" rather than play. I am struggling to get XBMC up to give me the same ability. On-line tutorials are either for a different version of XBMC or a different platform. I cannot sort this, but such a basic requirement it must be do-able. Any help?

I'm running xbmc in my Vu+Solo2 BH2.1.5. xbmc gives me no settings for time zone (greyed out) so I assume it gets it from my system. System is set to GMT - but automatically adjusts for daylight saving - xbmc does not adjust and shows just GMT. How can I get xbmc and my BH to show the same time?

Struggling with your instructions. In LinuxsatAddonsPlugin I can find "dependencies" - but not KODdirect (or anything like it). Going through the BH menu to BH addons - I still cannot find kodidirect - so I cannot open kodidrect. I am using the backup image from post #1 and I enter xbmc via green button > launch xmbc. From within this I got told there was a later version - but I cannot find how to update.

UPDATE - sorry, found it now in Plugins - iptv, and updated to latest version. Thanks.

Have started to dip my toe into XBMC - but most services don't work (required files missing etc.) and Kodi at 13.2 but telling me there is a much later stable version (14.2 I think). I cannot find a away from within XBMC to update it - am I missing something, or how do I get the later version?

I am planning to get a 4K set next. I know that there are currently very few (I think only demo) channels on satellite, but I am interested in whether my Solo2 can deliver such channels to a 4k TV?

Just check that you have enabled dual tuner (if it thinks you only have one tuner then you would get the behaviour you describe).

Am on latest TSMedia (9.2) in the UK - does anyone know how to get Hasbahca m3u addon to work? I just get error:no data . . .

Yes, I was also using xepgdb providers, but the particular subsets were all rytec.

I use crossepg - not sure what method it uses, I assume satellite. The UK (via Open) is not a problem, but the usual rytec sets (Norway, etc) no longer load.

I have the same issue with rytec sources not downloading since upgrade to BH2.1.5. I have Vu+Solo2 with both tuners used - one fixed and one usals. The tuner config was done after loading the backup image from this board. Is there a possibility that my current tuner config is different to that which crossepg was set for? and if so, how do I reconfigure crossepg?

For the past few days or so I have noticed that the rytec sources on crossepg have not loaded any data. Don't know whether this is a 2.1.5, crossepg, or rytec issue (it could even be an issue with me, I guess) - but might be the same issue you have.

Love this backup - now trying to get to grips with xbmc. Many bits not working, will try to sort an I need the particular bit, however a message said that I now need to update kodi to latest version - but how?

At least I am not alone. If either of us (or antbody else) find a solution please post in this thread.

Using Vu+Solo2. I have been using the serienfilm extension, which collects recorded series into their own folder and also shows all folders under "movie" when displaying "recordings". On updating from BH 2.1.3 to 2.1.5 there is clearly a problem now with this extension. When installing it from the menu/addons/manage extension/multimedia it reports a successful installation and restarts enigma2. All looks fine. However, select "recordings" and none appears, all buttons are invalid, can't change channel, power off from the back required.

Anyone else come across this, and any solution?

Great work - just one question, on my TV and viewing distance, the reduced size of the TV guide are a bit of a problem. Is it possible to enlarge these to full screen, or does that r require a different skin?

Worth checking you did not make same mistake as me, I put the www into the URL which stopped it from working. Just make sure you are EXACTLY as above.
