Forgive my ignorance but what is the advantage of this 'mod' plugin?

i currently have regular suls running.

few things i dislike about it are:

1. cant disable certain categories through plugin.

2. categories are named iptv - .....

3. cant get catchup to work

4. stations have 'uk-' before each station (same for other countries)

does this mod help with any of the above?

I don't know I don't use Mac lines, you might be able to login but if it's been locked to a user agent ie player it won't play on other devices.

i have the details on 2 android apps, kodi on pc and firestick. prob not the issue i would think

hi, just loaded the xtreamity plugin. again all sections/boquets are shown but wont play. i cycle through streamtypes and nothing. 'no data received' pops up. and again this is still perfect on stbemu so no dead streams.

any other suggestions? i think its down to

Lots of providers are blocked when the football is on. Football is on a lot at the moment.
As this is a bouquet maker, you can create bouquets when your provider is not blocked, but then when you come to view them, your provider could be blocked. In which case the stream will be temporarily dead.

This might be your problem.

Hi. No i dont believe that is the problem. Working perfectly through stbemu on firestick.

If my password was incorrect would it still load bouquets? Im asking this as i used mac to m3u to get the user/pass and as you know it gives a different pass every time you click generate.

Q1: i have got provider to change something and now i can view sections and download them. does this mean my line is now corrected? Would i not be able to view boquets if something was wrong?

Q2: my streams are not playing. i seen something on page one to try service app and gstreamer. ive changed stream type to all 4 versions now available and it will still not play. anything else i can try?

Im not sure wats going on here. I can use SULS IPTV boquet maker and it pulls all the boquets and epg in perfectly with categoreies etc.

Not sure why it wont load the categories in your plugin.

KiddaC anything else you reckpn i could try? Any settings within plugin files etc? Anything i could change that eould import a downloaded m3u to give all categories (il go this route if i hsve to)

SULS is doing the job but few things annoying me (no catchup, 'IPTV' showing on every category name and no easy way to disable unwanted categories (i know i coild just del them)

UPDATE: i definately have the script bottomed out now. when i put it into my browser it downloads an m3u which plays in vlc.

still cant get the boquets to load up within plugin using script.

If i drop the m3ufile into jediplaylist folder it creates 3 boquets, live, series and vod.

Anything else i can try or is this a provider issue?

Thanks Kiddac. i actually had this in and it shows green dot in plugin. when i go into playlist and press green to continue it flashes up loading playlist or something and then nothing. no boquets show up, any ideas?

Do you know how to use openwebif.

i.e typing your sat boxes ip address into a windows browser.

for example

192.168.1.110

Play a channel with xtreamtv

then open openwebif in a browser,

go to television tab on the left

then current tab at the top.

The info there, should tell you the address of the stream being played, and from there you might be able to get you domain and port

prob the wrong thread but il chance my arm. my provider only uses xtream tv plugin (mac enabled, i have no line details etc)

the best i an get at the minute is using the xtream plugin to create live and vod boquets. i can get epg data to attach to these channels.

question is, is it possible to use a plugin to "clone" these channels into the normal boquets? i can add the channel to boquets manually but epg data doesnt attach to it then.
