    Fantastic, a generic template for a single custom host would be great and very useful. Hopefully by then I'll play and learn more about the plugin too.

    Thanks again, have a good week. :)

    Tip for those installing this. I found out why there was error "no space free on hdd" while playing. I just had to create a folder called movie in the root of hdd. That is where it is bufffering. The plugin needs another folder for cache called IPTVCache, but it is crerated automatically.

    I set my buffer to 2 (mb) only as I watch mainly streaming TV channels, youtube etc. Sam has his set to 120 which is good for movies and big files. Default is 5 which is a good compromise.

    I rearranged my icons as Sam said & wrote in OP ^ (Doh, I did not see):

    Just as Sam said in:
    Configuration: Services Configuration: menu (button on remote): Press on any in list to turn RED: Press up-down keys: OK to place: Green button to save

    Another tip for new users, in:

    Configuration: Services Configuration: Press on any item in list

    This gives you the settings for that item. For example in Youtube, I changed the video format from mp4 to both mp4 & flv and changed quality to best.

    Exiting by exit key works well in favourites. In LocalMedia, exit sometimes asks for confirmation in Polish language but it stopped doing that now, just pressing exit a couple of times exits. Some streams need pressing stop button under yellow button on remote.

    Also on remote:

    For most streams, movies , youtube etc, you can go forward and back in streams:

    1 = rewind << 20sec.s
    4 = rewind << 1minute
    7 = rewind << 5min.s

    3 = forward >> 20sec.s
    6 = forward >> 1minute
    9 = forward >> 5min.s

    Obviously it does not work for live TV Channels.

    2 requests to Sam:

    1- I can search for a channel in youtube. I can add a youtube video to favourites. But I can not save a youtube CHANNEL in favourites or in youtube section.
    Can we have a feature where we can save a Youtube Channel in favourites?

    2- Can we have an option for youtube search: play all search results one after another.
    And then at bottom of first page of search results, it starts palying the results of search from page 2 then page 3 etc.

    What this option does is we search for a word in youtube, then it plays all results automatically. It turns it into a custom TV channel on whatever word you search for. very powerful.
    Can be a setting in youtube confiiguration:
    Autoplay All Search Results: Yes/No.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks samsamsam for the wonderful reply.

    1- I will try those settings and some external players as you advised. Those are all good information to know about preferred stream types, codecs, buffering and players. This plugin is really well coded as I can see from preferences. I will try to optimize as you advised.

    2- That's good to know I can rearrange icons. I just installed it yesterday and have to play and learn it much more.

    3- Yes that would be cool to add our own links as icons in homepage. So you can save a local m3u on hdd which is pointing to one or more remote streams. Then we can move it to the top of icons as you said. This can have a generic icon. Basically it's much faster to access than favorites. I already assigned my Green button on remote to this plugin. Then just press OK on first icon which would be our local m3u file. Would be very fast and nice with just 2 quick clicks. Just less clicks & steps than Local Media & Favourites. Also can have more than one customized m3u buttons, all can have the same icon. Just an idea.

    Thanks again for the plugin & your help above.

    Just saw this thread today. I installed it yesterday as I found it in another thread, linked below.

    Looks & works great. It would be nice if LocalMedia & Favourites are on the top line of icons.

    Also Would be great if I could add my local link (m3u to remote link) as an icon. Also if rearranging icons was possible so I could move my added link as an icon to the top. Just an idea.

    It kept saying no free space on hdd but there was space. I changed player to internal+ no buffer and works like that.

    Please keep it small & fast. Works great, thanks.

    I mainly use youtube in TSmedia but after google recently changing their api set he's fixing it (page 1 result replicated for pages 2..n) which should be done soonish for latest TSmedia version. Phoenix working well too. Many like filmon don't work. If needing memory freed and not using his pluginskinmover to move it to hdd, then:
    you can go into extensions folder and into TSmedia folder and delete subfolders for modules you don't use in addons,nettv,iptv etc except iplayer.

    good news, i don't have to fire up the xbmc box anymore. MFaraj's famous TSmedia has iPlayer working for me.

    categories seems not to work but A-Z works.

    install 9.3
    http://www.tunisia-dreambox.in…tsmedia-oe2.0_9.3_all.ipk
    or newest here:
    http://www.tunisia-dreambox.in…mbox-e2-addons-2/TSmedia/
    currently v9.3

    reboot e2

    upgrade to latest version (currently 9.5) from inside TSmedia:
    Desktop: Tools: Software Update: Green button

    reboot e2

    BBC iPlayer is in section: Net TV

    +
    Youtube:
    His Youtube is the best , updated and fixed to work with the new google api set a few days ago.
    Search for a a word(s) by pressing GREEN button: lists numerous pages of results and it keeps auto-playing the hit results

    for both iPlayer & Youtube:
    remote number keys:

    1 is 20 seconds rewind
    4 is 1 minute rewind
    7 is 5 minutes rewind

    3 is 20 seconds fforward
    6 is 1 minute fforward
    9 is 5 minutes fforward

    if your box is older type and doesn't have enough memory for TSmedia, use his pluginskinmover to move your big plugins to harddisk (like android link2sd), google: plugin skin mover

    Thanks cazuela and delbert, I know what you mean, life is what happens when one is busy making other plans. Basically when you got time any big plugin from VU OpenPli subforums that streams IPTV should install or at least check for mp4/h264 codec. Best of luck and hope everything else in real life is going well. Have a good weekend.

    et-livestream was installed but not working for some reason(the box crashed when I tried to start it from the extensions menu). Uninstalled and reinstalled it and now I can at least start that, but unfortunately OnDemand still has the same problems on BBC & ITV(i've tried BBC1, BBC2, etc. as you suggest above). Then, when I tried RTE & 3 Player, I was surprised to see that they work perfectly.
    So, can it be that BBC & ITV use a different codec, maybe? Or maybe some geo-blocking issue(I'm not in the UK)?

    So that's narrowed down the issue. I got some unplayable on ITV but some work too. All BBC works for me.

    Menu: information: service while playing shows BBC source is rtmp but the file type can be a variety.

    * Backup image
    * Install drivers one by one from:
    * TSpanel: Addons: TunisiaSat Addons: TSmedia Library
    * Reboot UI (e2) to check BBC
    * If no joy, install another driver
    * Reboot & check again

    Install the usual suspects: mms, bad-rtmp, avi, flv, bad-*, then good-*.

    People wishing to install, need to flash files in post #178 (on page 18 of this thread) first and follow enclosed instructions carefully. Specially afterwards, as in post #181 (on page 19 of this thread). Will work for OpenPli4.0 and OpenPli2.1, don't know about the rest. Without following instructions & flashing files in post #178 (on page 18 of this thread) just copying the folder won't work, this is just for delbert71 who has done all that. Please read this thread at least from page 18. Abu baniaz's instructions will work too.

    * 4OD stopped working (used to search for ted, ie: father Ted)

    *
    BBC: Go to page 2 of listings, choose BBC1, BBC2, etc.

    *
    In plugin's homepage: press MENU Button: set "Preferred Stream Quality" to: HD

    OK, thanks. I didn't see that those two lines were under section 'install these ipks in root:'. I've gone through everything again now from the start including those 2 installations and but I'm still having problems starting the plugin. Before I emptied the OnDemand folder & copied in the 'latest working' version from your files I could start the plugin(with icons in the middle of the screen) but after deleting & replacing the files i get this error when opening the plugin menu:

    Some plugins are not available: Extensions/OnDemand (Bad magic number in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OnDemand/__init__.pyo)

    I've double-checked that I copied over all of your various files to the box(VU Solo2) according to the instructions but still no luck. Any idea what the problem could be?

    My files were to make it work on OpenPli2.1 (my box is a clone, dm800se) and then it worked on OpenPli4.0. I can't say it'll work for sure on other configurations. You seem close though. 2 options:

    1* You might just have to simply flash the latest original ipk in the source thread, BH specific too:
    http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=26996

    2* Failing those ipks working:
    delete __init__.pyo
    edit __init__.py in the same location to make sure the PluginLanguagePath is correct, current __init__.pyo:

    and rebooting so it generates a new __init__.pyo.

    But your best bet is flashing the files for BH in option 1 if you're BH.

    Check to see if on-demand is still available in plugins. When working it's settiNgs can change from its homepage: menu button, so it shows in menu Also I have used multi-quick button plugin to assign green button to it (also set my red=tsmedia, yellow=epg download, blue=tspanel). If not in plugins, had not been installed properly.

    Part 2: means install both the part for 1.6 version and then install the aforementioned file for 2.0 version afterwards also.
