  • Debian Oscam File location

    Hi Everyone


    Just installed Debian and Auto installed cccam/oscam 2.1.3. Installed with no problems and works fine. I just can't find the Cccam x86 file or the oscam file. Looked in /usr/local/bin and nowt there. I am asumeing that is the location or are they hidden? Do I have to check a box or something?

    I take it your example is refering to a sly card? So if I wanted to just share Tring allowing re-share my F line would be F: user pass 0 0 0 { 0:0:2, 0BAA:0:2 } { } { } peers dns ?

    Is it possible to have let’s say have 3 cards on your server (Ubuntu CCcam 2.1.3/Oscam, Smargos) but only re-share 1 of them? If so could someone point me in the right direction please?

    Any chace of an idiots guide please? Been trying for days to get my head around it. When I download fail2ban none of this text is in the jail.conf file


    [cccam-12000]

    enabled = true
    port = 12000 ?> port of your cccam server. I have 12333 for example.
    filter = cccam
    action = iptables[name=CCcam0, port=12000, protocol=tcp] ?> here you only need to change port to 12333 for example.
    logpath = /tmp/warnings.txt
    maxretry = 10
    bantime = 6000 ?-> this is in seconds. User will be banned 6000 seconds.


    I was wondering should I just add it? Do you think the text has been omitted from the fail2ban download now as you did write this in Jan 2011.

    I want to telnet into my ubuntu set up and it asks for a user then a password. Are these standard like root and dreambox? Or do I need to set them up? Or are they something I have filled in when I installed ubuntu?

    Hi Everyone


    My CCcam keeps crashing and I am looking for reasons why. I have found these errors in the /var/log/debug file

    Could you explain these couple of lines a bit further please? I am a bit unsure where and what info to enter and why it is hashed out.


    # ?ignoreip? can be an IP address, a CIDR mask or a DNS host (could you explain a bit futher please?)


    ignoreip = 127.0.0.1 192.168.1.72 ?> here you need to put addresses that will be ignored by fail2ban! (Is this where you input your server ip?)
    maxretry = 3
